I need help with a math problem involving the area of a square?

"A square wall is covered with square tiles. There are 85 tiles altogether along the two diagonals. How many tiles are there on the whole wall?"

Now, I request you to please give me a step-by-step explanation on how you arrived at the right answer. And speaking of which, the right answer is NOT 924.5. In fact, it is something in the 1000s (since the answers are there in the back of the book), but I won't specify it over here for obvious reasons.

I need help finding old furniture!?

I have a small business "flipping furniture" by redoing and distressing junk-to-jewels!! In the winter season, I'm having trouble finding pieces to refurbish. I try to get good finds at my local Goodwill, but they arent as cheap as I'd like to turn a profit.
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!

I need help finding a rarely used unique meaningful pronounciable non weird baby boy name. Any suggestions?

Hello. I am 4 months prego and am on the hunt for a baby boy name. I already have a girls name. However, after an intense and exhaustive search, I have come up empty for a boys name. Most names found were too weird, unpronounciable, overused, strange or ridiculous meaning, or a combination of some or all of the above. This is important to me as this will be my firstborn and a bi-racial child. If you are lucky and smart, you could be my saving grace and help me name a part of my own history and the future that this one life could bring!!!! ;D Thanks for your consideration and time. God bless!!!

Help! I need baby names!?

Help! My husband and me are fighting over girl baby names! When my son, Dalton was born, they wouldn't let us leave the hospital until we gave him a name and we're afraid that it might happen again. We both decided it would be an unusual and unique name so our baby could stand out.
Here's the names I like:
October- After in which Halloween (my favorite holiday is and it's a family tradition.)
Lilly-After my favorite kind of flower
Raphael- After my favorite artist
May- After my grandmother

His-
Eden- (Biblical name)
Evangeline- (After his great-grandmother)
Verona- (The place where his family came from)
Miranda-(After his mother)
Brazil- The place where we first met
Please help! I'm desperate!

How do I find a book whose author and title I don't know, but can only describe?

Isn't it annoying when that happens?Besides the suggestions given by other responders, I'd like to suggest "What's that book" communities where other readers help to identify books based on your description. There are several I know of, I suggest browsing through them to see which one is most responsive for your genre of book and looks like it will work for you (registration is required for at least the first three):What's the name of that book? on GoodreadsWhat's that book called? on RedditWhat was that book? on LiveJournalWhat's that book? is a whole website devoted to such queries, but I couldn't get it to load past the main page, maybe you'll have better luck!

Please help me or solve this for me I have been doing this for 4 hours im lost.?

This is the order in which to press the tiles.

The E with one dot (.) is the first E that should be pushed, and the one with the two dots (..) would be next.

You just have to press the tiles to spell out JERUSALEM, again.

Structural Engineers- wood joist loading-?

I need help finding out if the floor in the building I work at is capable of supporting a restaurant.
I know an engineer should be hired, but my boss is an architect who thinks he knows.
The question comes in two parts-
1- 2 1/2" x 12" (actual) joists on 16" centers, 16' 6" long, made of 100+ yr. old western wood (presumably San Francisco area lumber). Is it suitable for a 100 lbs. sq ft. load?
2- If a wall (theoretically non load-bearing, but floor to ceiling, with two floors of apartments above) were put on the floor, parallel to the joist, would the joist underneath it need to be reinforced?
If it makes any difference, the flooring will be 4" x 4" ceramic tile.
