Can you help me name a Latina character?
After reading the description to made, and because as a writer I have faced the same, I could offer you some samples. Because she is American she don't need to have the two surnames as we Mexicans do, then this make the thing a little more simple:Fernanda is quite possible, is modern and string and you can nickname her Fer which is short and easy. Ximena, is a much more spaniard style but quite popular among Mexicans and sounds lovely. Alejandra, then you can use the nickname Alex which is strong short and kind of universal. Soledad, is traditional and strong but sweet. "sole" is a goo nickname. Isabel, is beautiful and quite traditional, "Chave" is not a very good nickname in my opinion but is very traditional. Martina, is traditional and modern and can be shortened as Marti or TinaSandra, is old fashioned and sophisticated and can be Sandy.Julieta, July, very romantic. Fabiola, maybe she only let her father call her Fabi. Ana, easy and universal Mariana, vey Mexican there is not a good nickname. The surname depends on the the kind of family background I think. This are traditional and easy to use for a worker class family:LopezPerezMoreno This are, in my opinion more useful for a family more in the middle high class:EcheverriaNegrete EspinosaMendozaAdameThis are more fancy "let's said" I'll use this for a rich Mexican family recently emigrated because the business needs: Fernández Del PasoAristularreaJimenez-HaroEsquivelGood luck and regards.

I need help with a name for this character?
hmm try something like zander (could be short for alexander) or hendrix. use a name that has a Z or an X in it. that sounds very edgy and violent to me. there's zac too but that doesn't sound like what you're looking for.

My PB (play-by) is Evan Rachel Wood. What names fit her appearance? Can you think of a good first and middle name? Thanks! http://evanrachelwood.net/gallery1/albums/Photoshoots/Photoshoot%2041/normal_CM6.jpg
Can you help me find a name for my main character?
If you are creating your own universe then it is assumed you will be creating specific types of people with their own languages and societal backgrounds. In that situation I would suggest that you begin your story by telling the reader the general nature of your universe and why you are writing the book in English, for the reader. At the back of the book you can add a glossary that explains the meanings of all your character and place names.e.g.: You call a character “Pupunuggi” and you explains that coming from the province of “Shetland” his name means Shit Head…..etc.This is just an idea of how you can do it. If you are not creating your own universe but writing something Earth-Oriented then it is a really good idea to research names and meaning, for people around the planet. You never need to explain the meaning of names, unless you choose. In textbook I just completed on the Creative Process and what makes Literature I cover the creation of Characters and giving them the appropriate name, in one full chapter. It really would be worth the review to understand what’s in a name.
Please help me name my new Characters!?
I write Murder Mysteries to be acted out at Mystery Dinner Parties. The Characters in my new mystery are loosely based on women like the "Golden Girls". I need help with 6 of my characters their ages are somewhere between 55 and 70 for 5 of them, the other women in a grandmother(very spunky) of about 80/85 yrs old. 2 of the women are twins. If you have any suggestions, I would really appreciate seeing them and I'm forever grateful for your help.
