I need help with the last name Brazle?

Spellings of last names change over time. In Ireland Brazle originally was O'Breasail (pronounced the same, but just spelled differently.) There are also Brazil, Brasille, Brazel. The family can be traced to Dublin, Waterford, Kilkenny, Tipperrary, Wicklow. However, I do know of a family of Brazil.....who are Portuguese in decent. Here is an author's inside secret. The very best place to find last names is at the US Census Bureau's List of Surnames from Most to Least Common. You can knock yourself out looking through literally every surname in the US. I like to go a few pages in but not too far. I don't want really weird surnames, but I do want to avoid names like Black, Smith, etc. I keep the site on bookmarks along with www.behindthename.com which I use for first names. I would no sooner let someone else name my goldfish if I had one than I would let a total stranger name my characters. As Stephen King calls them, they are your darlings. They belong to YOU. Pax-C
