I Need To Know How The Charters/contestants Are Portrayed In The Last Episode

Were the characters in Avatar: The Last Airbender supposed to be asian?

Let see...

They have Asian names.
They read and write an Asian language.
They wear Asian clothing,
They have Asian hairstyles.
They use Asian martial arts.
They drink Asian teas.
They use chopsticks.
They eat rice and Asian foods.
Their have Asian architectures.
They use the Asian (Lunar) calender.
They follow Asian religions.
They all have black hairs (there is no blond or redhead in that world.)

I think they could be Irish or German!

Anyway, in the upcoming Thor movie, the Norse gods are played by a multi-racial cast. Have you look into the discussion forums lately? A lot of white people are pissed at the supposedly "politically correct" casting. So, were the Norse gods supposed to be white? I bet that guy you know would insist they were white. Ask the guy you know how he knows the Norse gods were white.

Best/Worst Harry Potter casting for the films?

For me the Best are:

-Maggie Smith as Mcgongall- I honestly couldn't picture anyone else in the role. She is perfect.
-Alan Rickman as Snape- Amazing
-Helena Bonham Carter as bellatrix--Perfect for bellatrix, she is sooo crazy
-Malfoy Family- I think all the characters cast were really good choices
-Evana Lynch as Luna- She is Luna-perfect
_The actors for Umbridge, Hagrid and Neville were also very good choices.

Worst:
-Bonnie wright as Ginny- Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. She has no chemistry with Harry and is so expressionless ehhh
-Bill Weasley- I dont know why he just is not at all how I imagined
-Richard Harris- I feel like he was way too calm to play Dumbledore. Dumbledore is described as eccentric and full of energy. I just didnt see that with Harris, I couldnt see him dueling with Voldemort.

What do you think???

Which GoT characters you consider wrongly cast and a misfit from their portrayal in books?

Though I do enjoy the series, my answer paints HBO in an unfavorable light.I think Emilia Clarke (Daenerys) and Kit Harrington (Jon) are poorly cast -- the former moreso than the latter.  I guess both of them "look" the part, but their dramatic chops (and/or the writing) are not up to snuff.  Daenerys ends up staring off into space 60% of the time (I think even Emilia laughingly refers to this as her "smelled a bad smell" expression), and Jon comes off like a surly Irish coal-miner with none of his book-self's contemplation or philosophy.  We know that Emilia (Daenerys) was re-cast right at the series' beginning (original actress Tamzin Merchant either quit or was fired), so this might make some sense;  they couldn't find the "vibe," and even the last-minute replacement actress wasn't quite a 100% fit.Stannis (as played by Stephen Dillane) isn't a 'bad' performance, but he is very different (and not-consistent) compared to book-Stannis.  His dialogue and motivations seem to be all over the map, and, where book-Stannis has a certain underdog fan-loyalty, HBO-Stannis has become... something worse.Renly (as played by Gethin Anthony) is an all-but-failed performance in my estimation.  The florid sensitive-and-charismatic-but-untried book-Renly (almost like a Musketeer, or a thespian performer from the Old West, full of gallantry and fancy clothing) loses something in the HBO translation, where he becomes a stammering whiner.  One could argue that part of book-Renly's role is taken up by HBO-Margaery, but that still leaves HBO-Renly sorely lacking.Ramsay (as played by Iwan Rheon) is very different from book-Ramsay, but, in this case, I think the HBO series actually improved upon the written word.  At his wide-eyed sinewy best, HBO-Ramsay is the stuff of leering, capering nightmare;  in other scenes, he is merely... amusing.Tyrion (via Peter Dinklage) is cleaned up, beautified, and somewhat more sympathetic than even his book-self -- but one could argue this is 'necessary' for TV audiences, and, to some degree, sets the comic/sarcastic/underdog tone for the entire series.  His performance is of course highly acclaimed.I can't really factor Gwendolyn Christie's Brienne into this formula.  Book-Brienne (and her wander-the-countryside story) would be nearly impossible to adapt for the screen.  I think what we got was 'good enough.'

What characters in South Park should I cast in Julius Caesar?

Cartman is Caesar

Why do we see gay and lesbian characters in almost all US movies or TV series?

Modern liberals incorporate diversity checklists into all TV shows and movies now a days or try to.A typical checklist is:Black - CheckWhite - CheckAsian - CheckBrown - CheckLesbian - CheckGay - CheckTrans - CheckFeminist - CheckLet’s say you have a show about police. The police dept. portrayed in the show will have one of each from the top of the list. Imagine that.Every movie will have EVERY race, gender and sexual orientation checked to ensure maximum political correctness. Now, the content of the show does not matter. The story does not matter. What’s more important is inclusivity and representation. No one wants to watch movies or shows to escape reality. They watch TV to be reminded of how we need to inspire social change. When I go to see Star Wars, I don’t want to see sci-fi. I want to see them representing EVERYONE so everyone in the world will stop being racist.Everything needs to have everything all the time in exact equal amounts or else you’re racist.

What age were the characters in Buffy the Vampire Slayer during seasons 1-3?

The show aired its first episode on March 10, 1997, and each of the teenage characters was supposed to be about 16 at the time. Here are the birthdates of the actors in the first season and the ages they were at the time that the first episode aired:

Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) - April 14, 1977 (age 19)
Nicholas Brendon (Xander) - April 12, 1971 (age 25)
Alyson Hannigan (Willow) - March 24, 1974 (age 22)
Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia) - July 23, 1970 (age 26)
Anthony Stewart Head (Giles) - February 20, 1954 (age 43)
David Boreanaz (Angel) - May 16, 1969 (age 27)
Mercedes McNab (Harmony) - March 14, 1980 (age 26)

Here are the birthdates of the actors introduced in later seasons. The ages of the characters will vary depending on the season. I'm putting the age of the actor on the episode that the character first appeared.

James Marsters (Spike) - August 20, 1962 (age 35)
Seth Green (Oz) - February 8, 1974 (age 23)
Emma Caulfield (Anya) - April 8, 1976 (age 22)
Alexis Denisof (Wesley) - February 25, 1966 (age 32)
Marc Blucas (Riley) - January 11, 1972 (age 27)
Amber Benson (Tara) - January 8, 1977 (age 22)
Michelle Trachtenberg (Dawn) - October 11, 1985 (age 14)

With the exception of Michelle Trachtenberg, who was about the same age as her character, all of the actors playing teenagers were much older than the characters they portrayed. The biggest differences were Mercedes McNab, Charisma Carpenter, and Nicholas Brendon, who were about 10 years older than their characters.
