Ariana is a 4-octave vocal range filled with blasting vocals and riffing high notes. She belts better and knows how to control her voice. Compared with Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift’s voice is 2-octaves. She is known to have fantastic song writing skills. Although some criticize her for using her songs to get even with her enemies, it’s only natural of her to express her emotions in her work. Taylor Swift has also been in the music industry longer and this gives her an edge over Ariana Grande.Personality-wise, (yes, we will include this as part of the category because for singers like us, it’s a total package when you are up there on the stage) Ariana takes the nice person image. She is the sassy pop queen who maintains a beautiful and sweet look while Taylor Swift, the country girl singer, has bolder personality and care less about what others think of her.If you consider who is the better singer in terms of awards received, it’s Taylor Swift that takes the lead. She has more compared with Ariana which included Grammy Awards, MTV Video Music Award for Best Female Video, American Music Awards and Billboard Woman of the Year among others.So who is the better singer between the two? Vocal abilities and Personality? Ariana. Music, Lyrics and Awards? Taylor Swift.Both singers have different style and package. On stage, they wow their audience with their performance. In the end, every singer wants to be loved for who they are. Each has her own style and for that, I love both Ariana and Taylor for their contribution in the music industry.

These are two musical acts who should never, EVER be compared. Their music isn't of the same genre, their music isn't from the same era, they hailed from completely different places and frankly, I don't see much in common between then whatsoever. The Beatles win hands down if you must have an answer though. Anybody that has no idea why should not be in the music business~

I agree with you, I really like her. Despite popular opinion, I love her songs and I do not think they all sound the same. Unlike most now a days, they actually have meaning and I think she is actually a good singer. People may say she sings bad in concerts, but I don't think so and I would rather hear that than lip-sinking any day.She also hasn't gone all crazy like other people and does a lot of charity work. Just because her music isn't just country doesn't make her bad and she has dealt with the spotlight really well in my opinion. I don't mean to offend anybody, and it is their own opinion if they like her or not, but this is just mine. I think she is really talented and accomplished, and she should be commended for that.
