I think I accidentally took 4 of the original Sudafed tablets in too short a time; will this cause bad effects?
It could, Sudafed is a powerful product. You are very unlucky to be in a foreign country at this time... I had a Sudafed problem before. The one that I have says to take 1 every 12 hours. I took the one, and only waited about 8 hours. I was shaking like you wouldn't believe, and my head was spinning so much that I couldn't see. I went to the ER and the doctor said that my heart beat was off the charts going crazy. Sudafed really amps you up, that's why people use it in making meth amphetamines. It really speeds up your heart beat, so it could be deadly.
Can I take ZzzQuil and Sudafed together?
if you are not a hypertension patient then yes, a combination of them is a traditional therapy protocol for cold, but zzzquil will cause you dizziness so you’re not to drive or operate dangerous machines while taking it BUT there are better ways to treat cold if that is why you’re in need for them..try taking a lemon ginger tea several times a day while staying in bed, you’ll feel better the next day.
Can I take Tylenol PM and Sudafed together?
Yes you can take tylenol pm and sudafed together. Tylenol Pm is a mixture of tylenol for pain and benadryl. Benadryl is an antihistamine, which has the side affect of making most people tired. Sudafed helps clear congestion and there are no significant risks in taking all at the same time. HOWEVER!!!! The person that said you can take 5000 mg a time is a moron. He is trying to kill your liver. The maximum dose is usually considered to be 15mg per kilogram of body weight. That means if you weigh 100 kilos, or 220 pounds you would take 1500mg maximum and usually we stop at 1000mg every 6 hours for a full sized adult. That's a max of 4000mg per day. NOT MORE other wise you can damage your liver. If your sinuses are that bad consider, benadryl, sudafed, zyrtec, etc. Skip the tylenol, which is only for pain.
What if i accidently took 2 Sudafed PE ( the new stuff )?
you'll be fine, maybe a little tired but probably not even that. Use the non-pe sudaphed to get a little wired, or turn it into meth and get allot wired or arrested!
Will i be ok if i take 2 sudafed pe pills at one time?
I'm pretty sure the DOSE is 2 pills. That's how many I take. I could swear that the package said to take two... So you should be okay I think. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. But that's just me.
Can I take 800 mg ibuprofen and Sudafed PE together?
I have strep throat, which is very painful, so I am taking 800mg ibuprofen every 6-8 hours in addition to my antibiotic. I also have sinus congestion, which makes it hard to breathe through my nose, so I bought some Sudafed. However, I accidentally bought Sudafed PE, which has acetaminophen in it as well as the decongestant. Is it safe to take these meds together?
Sudafed gives me energy and makes me happy. Can I take it long term?
Btw, Doctors often have to defer to silence for fear that any non-conventional advice will get them sued. Often they are the LAST place one can get information outside of super rigid and conservative conventions. Like one time, I wanted liquid demoral to help with a cough that was literally killing me. Even the PDR said it was a powerful anti-sussative. But because it was unconvenional - no luck. But from experience I know - it works GREAT, and no side effects of any lasting impact. But again...It's like asking a school marm if she likes rock and roll. The answer will always be no, often without real consideration or thought, save for liability. Finally, people who become doctors are, more than the average, a conservative lot so any solution on the edge may not come from them. And this is if you can get a doctor to actually listen to you for more than 20 seconds.
