Is it safe to take two 20mg vyvanse at once?
I have a.d.d. and was prescribed 20mg of vyvanse. I know they prescribe up to 70mg but I wasnt sure if taking two 20mg was the same as one 40mg. When I first took them I monitored my heart rate and other symptoms. I am more alert but will still lose focus. It has greatly improved my college studies and as long as I try and focus I do well. I have noticed no change in heart rate and only feel wired occasionally (maybe once or twice per 30 pills). I have no problem sleeping immediately after they take effect and can still lose focus entirely when very bored. So would it be safe to try? I have stocked up on pills and wont see my doctor to ask him for a while
60 mg Vyvanse too much for the first time?
It's is currently around 5 AM Saturday morning. I woke up yesterday (Friday) to go to school around 6:15 AM. My friend who has ADD gave me a 60 mg Vyvanse pill to take that night to just enjoy myself. My sister who is in college and has used Vyvanse recommended that I take the full 60 mg, regardless of it being my first time. So I took it around 3 PM on Friday, and after about two hours I was extremely aware, talkative, etc. Me and my friend basically played frisbee, football, video games etc. I'm currently suffering from dry mouth which is a common side effect. But I haven't ate since about 4 PM Friday (13 hours without eating), plus I've been awake for about 23 hours straight. Was 60 mg too much for my first time? When should this stuff wear off and how so? I'm only 15 by the way. Thanks
Can't sleep on 70MG Vyvanse?
I've never taken any sort of medication other than for depression and anxiety, but that was almost a year ago. I know that a lot of people can't sleep on Vyvanse and 70MG is the highest dosage. This was my first time using it and it was for recreational purposes. I was feeling very unfocused and bored in class, so I took a Vyvanse as my friend suggested. I don't plan on doing it often, as I know it is not exactly good for me and can be highly addictive. However, since I cannot sleep whatsoever tonight, should I take another one tomorrow morning? Maybe not 70MG. Probably only 30MG. But just to get me through the day and then as soon as I get home I'll crash. And since it's Friday tomorrow I'll have all weekend to sleep. What do you suggest? Also, if it helps any, I'm 5'2 and weigh 115 and have a high metabolism.
I took two Vyvanse pills 50 mg each am I gonna be all right?
Is it safe to take two 50 mg Vyvanse pills equating 100 mg? I was becoming fed up and frustrated with Vyvanse not working at 50 mg and it'll take a few weeks to go back to the doctor so I took two 50 mg pills of Vyvanse. The doctor did not advise me to do this, but I decided to take a chance. Is it still safe? Doses of Vyvanse over 70 mg have not been tested. I heard that 50 milligrams Vyvanse is equivalent to 20 mg Adderall, so naturally two Vyvanse pills at 100 mg would equal around 40 mg, which is an average dose of Adderall, is this correct? The highest dose of Vyvanse is 70 mg, which is apparently equivalent to 30 mg Adderall. What about Benadryl and Vyvanse?
Not sure about this exact combo but stimulants mixed with a depressant can be really hard on ones heart - especially if used together frequently and often. I’m basing this on my knowledge of something to the effect of taking dexedrine and taking a bunch of painkillers or benzos. This may not correlate with Benadryl/Vyvanse directly but just saying… Sorry if this doesn’t answer your question directly. Not sure why you’d want to do this…
Can I take half a Vyvanse?
This is completely safe to do. Open the capsule and consume the desired amount. Mix with water, or a flavored juice drink. I recommend dumping the entire contents of a capsule into a water bottle and then drinking the amount you want. So if you have 50mg Vyvanse and you want only 25mg, then simply drink half the water in the bottle. Note that the active ingredient in Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) is water soluble, but the other components (filler) are not so you will still have some white powder still in solution. Ensure you shake very well to thoroughly dissolve as much as possible.

Vyvanse is prescribed for ADHD and 70mg is the highest daily dose. Since Vyvanse is a stimulant, it could effect your friend's heart causing a heart attack, stroke or a seizure. Other serious effects would be bi-polar or psychotic symptoms (hearing voices), mania and aggression. It can also cause high plood pressure, dizziness, agitation or problems with eyesight. If I take 210 mg of vyvanse, will I overdose?
um, no. you CANT overdose on 210 mg. XD in order to "overdose" you need to over dose on the "mg" and 210mg aint EVEN that much so your good. take three pills or 4 or 5 to get a greater effect..your not gonna over dose.
