I Want To Learn How To Shoot

How should i learn to shoot a gun??

you go to a store that sells guns, buy a descent bolt action .22 rifle(they generally are more accurate than a simi auto and force you pause between shots so your not inclined to go trigger happy, a .22 is also a cheap low recoiling rifle perfect for training) find a friend whose knowledgable about shooting and have him teach you the ways of the gun. also get good with iron sights before you advanced to optics you should be very proficient with your guns iron sights. practice your breath control i.e. take 2 deep breaths and exhale halfway then slowly squeeze the trigger. thats another big thing, trigger control needs to be slow and smooth jerk the trigger and youll never hit your target consistently. with that just get out and practice as much as you can. experiment with your own methods of everything above until you find whats comfortable and works best for you. taking a hunter safety course and a marksmanship course are both good ideas as well especially for learning safe gun handling

good luck and enjoy the sport

I wanna learn to shoot a real gun?

First of all, you should start by taking a hunters safety course, then express your interest to your dad and also let your mom know you want to do it SAFELY if you let her know you want to do it SAFELY she will be more likely to let you do it, because, just because dad thinks it OK doesn't mean mom will approve, and Yes mom has to approve. I have a 2 shotguns, 2 rifles, and a pistol. I love shooting. Once you make sure you mom understands you plan to do it SAFELY, you ask your dad to get you a .410 or 20 Gauge, they have a single shot from Remington for $100 at big five. Or any youth shotgun to start with. As for a rifle http://big5sportinggoods.shoplocal.com/big5/Default.aspx?action=browsepagedetail&storeid=2504104&rapid=476120&pagenumber=3&listingid=-2092470390 this is the one I bought and I love it.. Good luck let your parents know this is something your very interested in, and remember most importantly,,

A GUN IS NOT A TOY, DON'T POINT IT AT ANYTHING YOU DON'T INTEND ON SHOOTING, ESPECIALLY PEOPLE..

HAPPY "SAFE" SHOOTING

How much does it cost to learn to shoot a gun?

It doesn't have to cost anything to learn to shoot a gun. All you need is a friend with a gun, who can show you how to fire it.

However, it can cost a bit of money to learn to shoot a gun WELL. It won't cost much if you are shooting .22 caliber. It will cost a bit more if you're shooting 9mm. It can cost a lot if you're shooting .45. And you're either insanely rich or just stupid to learn how to shoot with a .50AE.

I'd recommend calling a gun range in your area, and finding out if they rent .22 caliber handguns or rifles. Gun rental is usually around $10 to $15. .22 caliber bullets will run about $1.25 for 50 rounds. Targets can be free, if you print them off of your computer. Range fees might run around $10. Ear plugs are about a buck, and eye protection is about $8.00 at Wal-Mart, or you can use a pair of light sunglasses if you've got them.

I hope you try it out. It's a lot of fun, and is a practical skill, as well. I think you'd enjoy it.
