I Want To Rebook My Flight On Dec 22-jan 3

How to rebook flight at etihad?

You need to call them, give them your booking reference number and they will make the necessary changes for you.

How will i rebook my flight?

Call the airline, or if you purchased through a travel agent, or an online travel agency, call them as the airline won't be able to assist you in making the change.

I want to rebook my flight?

It depends on the ticket you bought and if there is space available. You probably can, but there will most likely be a fee involved. Nevertheless, only Cathay Pacific can tell you for sure, call them.

How can I rebook my flight?

Contact the Airline or go on their website. They may ask you for your first booking. Make sure you have info. on that one. Hope this helps.

What to do if my flight is delayed?

Okay, so here is my situation.

I'm flying from SLK to BOS (Cape Air) then BOS to CLT, then CLT to JAX. The two later flights are with US Airways.

I booked with Expedia.

Before anyone says anything: Yes, I know I should have booked with the airlines directly and not with Expedia, my fault. it's my first time flying so I didn't know.

And yes, I should have chosen the same airline for the entire way, but I had no other option. I -had- to do it this way because SLK is a small airport. Nearest other airport is like 3 hours away and I didn't have anyone to get me there.

I'm not worried about the BOS - CLT - JAX portion of my trip, I've checked and delays are very rare in that regard. I'm worried about my SLK - BOS portion with cape air. Cape has a spotty record at this particular airport (SLK) where they can go without delay for many days, but then have splotches of delays between 30, and 200 minutes. My question basically is, in the event of a delay long enough that I miss my connecting flight, what do I do?

Do I contact Expedia and have them rebook me? Do I contact cape air and tell them that, because of their delays I missed my flights? Do I contact US Airways and tell them that I missed my flights because of cape air? What is the course of action? I've heard from multiple people that because I paid so much money for a ticket, that they essentially have an obligation to get me to where I'm going as long as it isn't a fault of mine (Which it wouldn't be, it would be Capes fault.)

Would US Airways be kind enough to rebook me on later flights if I did miss my connection? I almost think they would, given the fact that I already paid for the flight, it's just a matter of putting me on a different set of planes.

I have a layover of 1 hour, 30 minutes in Boston. So I can deal with a delay of up to 30 minutes maximum, I just need to get from terminal C to B, then through security. I could do that if I hustle in an hour I think.

Any help would be appreciated, I'm leaving on Dec 9th. First time flying and all that, quite nervous.

Yes, you can get refund, if your flight was cancelled due to bad weather. How can I rebook my flight schedule?

It depends on the restrictions, fare rules and conditions of carriage placed on the ticket you bought. Most flights are changeable for a fee, some may charge a fee and any difference in the price of the flight you want to change to, some less restricted tickets may allow you change your flight without penalty and some very restricted tickets may not allow any changes.

Call your airline, they're the only ones who can tell you whether you can, how much it will cost and if there's seats available on the flight you want to change to.

Does filing a flight plan mean a flight is unlikely to be cancelled?

I agree with Jay. You should never be afraid of logging a flight plan. Well, in some places, you can’t fly without one. In Europe, you must have one in order to cross borders. For example, if you are flying to Norway from Sweden or Denmark and not to an airport with custom office, you must file a flight plan at least four hours before crossing the border. When your flight plan has been accepted, you have half an hour to get in the air and open it. But you can always delay it, several times, or cancel it all together. No one should feel pressed to fly un uncertain weather because of a flight plan. What they usually don’t like is to advance the time of departure. Mind you, most of the time, if you can explain why, those guys are willing to bend the rules quite a lot.For example, some years ago, a group of us where flying formation, returning from Friedrichshafen, in Germany, to Norway when number two called me and said that he had to land as soon a possible. I told Sweden Control that we had to land at Fjallbacka and they asked me if I wanted to declare emergency. Not knowing what happened, I said: no.Once the three aircraft on the ground, the pilot in need said that he was short of fuel due to a headwind. But that airfield didn’t had a fuel tank and we had, late in the afternoon, to find someone who could come with jerrycans. Once refueled, I was sure we couldn’t get to Norway, a couple of hours flight, before sunset but I called the AIS/NOTAM to explain the situation and they said: “Okay, take off at once and report, we forget the four hours rule!”Nice, isn’t it?

Can I miss boarding a connecting flight?

Answers based on various scenariosIf your originating flight is delayed so that it makes you late for your connection, they're not going to wait for you. The connecting flight will fly off and the agent at the gate will rebook you on the next available flight. If you actually want to get off the plane and not go to your final destination, then as already mentioned you may be putting the rest of your flights in jeopardy.  If you have more travel to do on your itinerary (i.e.: your return portion of the ticket) those flights will be cancelled automatically. If this is a one way or return portion of your ticket and you intend to get off at the connection rather than your final destination then the only thing you need to worry about is any luggage you may be traveling with. Travel with a carry-on, or if checking a bag, make sure it is not tagged through to your final destination.
