Please read what you post before asking questions that embarrass yourself. The shows that Yahoo is discontinuing the Yahoo Messenger service. It is not E-Mail. Messenger is/was Yahoo’s instant messaging app. It was popular in the days before smart phones. The leader of that segment was AOL instant messenger. It was originally written for the days of dial up and served well at that time. Even then Yahoo’s product was a distant second to AOL’sToday the times and infrastructure have changed. FaceBook is now the defacto standard of smartphone messaging. And even a that the real leader is simple text messaging. SMS. Every phone everywhere can text. The need for the product barely exists.

Emails won't delete in yahoo mail, they keep reappearing in my inbox?
I click on an email and then click on delete. Presto, gone. And then it's back in my inbox. sometimes up to five times. I click on trash and click to empty it, sometimes the trash empties and sometimes it doesn't. If the trash empties, it seems to take the email permanently, but it shouldn't come back in the first place when I initially delete it. I'm using Firefox, if that makes a difference.
