How do you get a tax exempt card?
When I worked at TJ Maxx customers would come in the store all the time with tax exempt cards. They would buy like $2000 worth of clothes, shoes and jewelry and not have to pay taxes on them. How do you get one of those cards? They weren't foreigners or old, they looked like regular Americans to me. My manager would always give them the side eye.

If you're working full-time, you are most likely not exempt. I recommend NOT checking the box that says you're exempt. If you do, your employer will not withhold any money from your check for taxes, and then if you have tax liability, you'll be responsible for paying it at the end of the year, along with some penalties for not having the money withheld.
