I Wondering If You Guys Could View This Video And Give Me Some Constructive Criticism

Do women not handle criticism well...?

I'm asking out of past experiences: When I was in theater arts class we were rehearsing some lines to some monologue and there was this girl that I knew pretty well who asked me to give my 100% honest opinion on her signing. I agreed and she sang, after the performance I told her that she needed to work on her voice a lot more and that I just wasn't able to "catch on" to the song as typically expected. She also needed improvement on some of the high pitch lyrics of the song. Overall I gave her performance a less than okay review.

Well, I wont go into exact details but she got pretty upset and stormed away and didn't talk to me for like two weeks. Completely avoided me. For what? for giving my honesty opinion like she asked? How was this MY fault?

Another example is when one of my buddy's girlfriend made some food at a friends' house. Likewise she asked how I honesty felt about the quality of her cooking and I told her it could use some slight touch ups here and there. At first she didn't seem upset but then a few days later I learned that she apparently took it hard and got all emotional about it and complained to her boyfriend.

The reason why I'm asking if this is mainly a woman thing is because I've given similar honesty opinions with other guys and they never seem to take it to heart.

Your thoughts on the matter? My apologies if I offended anyone...

Fashion Video: I just finished taping my spring fashions video. Can you please give me some constructive.?

Very nice! I tried to watch it last night during dinner, but Wilford Brimley wouldn't shut up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoeOPuQSU...

Can I refresh a video on YouTube to get more views?

For about the first 300 views or so, any old click will do.
After that, the rules change considerably.

YouTube's "Google AdSense" program only works with
videos which are over 30 seconds in length -- otherwise
their CTRs (Click Through Ratios) will not register. That
means a video can only be officially counted as a "view"
if it has been seen for at least 30 seconds or the whole
length of the video if it's shorter than 30 seconds.

You should also remember that YouTube "cycles" view
counts only about every 6 to 8 hours or so. Haven't you
ever noticed that "likes" and "view counts" don't always
get added to other people's videos right away no matter
how often you Refresh the video or shutdown-&-reboot?

As such, clicking on the same video repeatedly will not
accomplish anything other than maybe 3 views per day.
As for videos whose viewcounts have been "inflated" by
bots or suspicious/repetitive clicking, their overall views
will likely "freeze" at around 300 -- and probably remain
that way for weeks and weeks.

Do you read the reviews about a movie before deciding whether to watch it or not?

Of course!First of all, paying for something without knowing anything about it is pretty stupid.Yes, I could have just watched a trailer, but that’s essentially the same thing as a movie review - you are finding something out about the movie before you even watch it. There’s not much difference in the long run - parts of the movie are spoiled for you whether you watch trailers or not. There’s also the fact that even average movie trailers often make the mistake of spoiling the entire movie in the trailer, so if we consider that, the playing field becomes even more level. The only way to avoid spoilers entirely is to simply pick a movie and avoid finding out anything about it, other than the bare minimum required to get you into the seat. However, this is unwise primarily because of my second of all: if you’re afraid of spoilers in a movie review, you are simply picking the wrong reviews and the wrong reviewers. When you begin relying on something, you need it to be reliable. So if you are reliant on a spoiler-free movie review to tell you whether a movie is worth going to see in theaters, you expect the movie review to actually be…y’know, spoiler-free. In light of that, you ought to pick movie critics you trust who won’t ruin shit for you.Personally, whenever I want a summation of whether I should watch something or not without having the whole thing ruined for me, I go watch Jeremy Jahns, . It’s worked out thus far.I really should have more than just one movie critic on the list of people I watch for spoiler-free reviews (so one person’s opinion doesn’t dominate my decisions), but thus far I haven’t found more than one critic I trust, so here we are.

AFI Mystery Videos?? Read please, especially if you're in the DF you might be able to help...?

I've discovered 4 "AFI Mysetery Videos", each titled with a bandmember's name (ex. AFI Mystery Davey Video) they have been posted on Youtube, it seems to me like "ac3" was the orginal poster because they are a "DF Crew" they state. And if you don't know DF stands for Despair Faction which is an offical AFI club.

Ahem, anyways. I was wondering why these videos were made. Was it just for fun, a project for Jade (he does a lot of videos) or does it have some sort of meaning, a puzzle perhaps? Any advice on where to look for info on it would be helpful.

This is the link for Jade's video, you can find the others by searching or looking in the sidebar with "related items"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zVbBRAYfGs&mode=related&search=

So, is there any reasons why or any theories made by fans? Let me know cause I'm really interested (i'm not a diehard fan, but do like AFI a lot, and more than just their new hits)

Why do people dislike youtube videos even if that video is the most wonderful thing ever? Is there any famous youtube video with no dislikes?

Here are the stats for a video uploaded three days ago by a popular artist, featuring no nudity, no violence, no potentially triggering material, no propaganda, and absolutely run-of-the-mill music.Basically — nothing objectionable. That's about 5% dislikes from the total votes cast. Simply put, about 0.2 % of the viewers disliked the content enough to bother pressing the Thumbs Down.Compare it with how things often are in real life.If you were to ask a crowd of 100 to vote on an issue, would you be terribly surprised if 2 people voted against the motion, despite how original, acceptable, and commendable the proposal is?People are wonderfully diverse - there can never be a universally appealing video. There'll always be a few people who'll dislike a product that's enjoyed by millions. Also, the Internet provides us a wonderful kind of anonymity - the crowd camouflage. Hidden behind an innocuous screen-name, people on the Internet have absolutely no accountability, especially on video sharing platforms like YouTube. A lot of people dislike wonderful content out of spite as it can't be traced back to their actual selves, and sometimes just because they can.You will consistently find people being racist, homophobic, sexist, elitist, or just assholes to everyone else on the comment thread simply because they can. Many of them dislike a video simply because they can. It's a lot more about a viewer's inherent individuality than the contents of the video.
