Im On My Computer And I Have Less Gb Then I Should.

Is 6.83 gb of music too much for a computer?

Im getting a macbook pro soon, and i want to know if this is too much music to have on one computer and if it would slow it down? I really dont want to get rid of any of my songs, does anybody have a macbook pro and know how the memory is? this would be a HUGE help for me

I'm buying a new computer. Should I go with 4GB RAM or 8GB RAM?

TLDR:4GB is all you need as long as you are not a multi-tasker.8GB is ideal for normal multi-tasking and gaming12GB is for heavy multi-tasking.16GB or more is for heavy gaming or professional software that needs a lot of RAM like Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.My dad has a 4GB laptop with Windows 10. He only uses Microsoft Word, e-mail on Chrome and stuff like Power Point (he is a lawyer and a teacher). As long as he is not using many apps at a time, he is just fine. However, if you start using a lot of Chrome tabs and many programs at the same time, memory starts to pile up and the laptop starts slowing down.If you have the money, get 8GB and (talking about storage) an SSD. Avoid Hard Drive Disks for Windows 10, you’ll be better with an SSD, way better. In my opinion, no average user or gamer should need more than 8GB of RAM, and no professional should use less than 16GB.

Is $1200 too much to pay for a desktop computer?

If you insist on a Mac, it's your business.

But it all depends on what ya wanna do with it, you didn't say.

So I'll try to read your mind and experience.

I'm thinkin' that ya ain't loaded with cash and ya ain't too high on the experience aspect, otherwise ya wouldn't ask, right?

So, take this advice for what it's worth...
Remember these points,

The following are what I consider the most important when buying a puter:
CPU (Central Processing Unit), measured in Megahertz, (MHz) or Gigahertz, (GHz), GHz is better, go for 3 GHz.

RAM (Random Access Memory), measured in Megabytes, (Megs, MB), or Gigabytes, (Gigs or GB), the more the merrier, get not less than 2 Gigs. 4 Gigs is the limit. (We won't go into 32-bit OS or 64-bit OS here).

HDD (Hard Disk Drive), measured in Megabytes (as above). Go for 500 Gigs. (TB) Terabyte is better so go for 1 Terabyte. (1 TB = 1000 Gigabytes).

Optical Drive, DVD burner, go for 7200 RPM (revolutions per minute).

Monitor, the bigger the nicer. *Will greatly affect the price overall. Do not get less than 15".

OS (Operating System, Windows 7 is the latest and best (requires less resources than previous two versions).

Included software, don't be sucked in by "FREE" software, most of that junk is free to download any time ya want ta have it. If you choose your own downloads, you keep control and you will get get near as many pop-ups and nosey 'cookies' to bother ya. Tell the seller he/she can keep the junk free software and ask for a discount instead, *which you won't get' but they'll know that you know your 'stuff'.
;-)
If you get like I suggest, you should not pay more than $600-$800, period.

A big monitor will increase the price accordingly.

Is 100 GB a lot of space for a computer?

Normally, enough if you don't store videos on it. Not enough if you plan to story more than a few videos. Videos are about the only thing MOST people store that will challenge that capacity. If YOU have 20,000 mp3 tunes, 20,000 photos, or you want to store music etc from CDs without using compression you could need more also. Two year old one has 100-120GB. I never had a problem even with 6000mp3 tunes and a lot of photos..

IS THIS A GOOD GRAPHIC CARD FOR MY COMPUTER?

You can get Nvidia GTX 260. I don't think its sold in china. You will have to buy it on internet.

How many GB will a 2 hour movie use?

if you download dvdrip quality movies, then a 2 hour movie will use up 700mb to 900mb. So you dont need to worry as a 2 hour movie you download will be less then 1GB.
(if you are downloading using torrents then before downloading you will be able to view the movie size and duration)

If I have less than the minimum amount of ram required for a game, how badly will it run?

It may not run at all. There are many factors that will impact all of this.Minimum specs are normally to help set expectations and are based on what a computer will typically be doing. Say a PC has 2GB or RAM. Then the OS uses between 0.75GB and 1.5GB of RAM depending on what is running. You then run a game that needs between 0.75GB and 2GB or RAM to run.If both game and OS are on minimum requirements, they will be fine at that point. If the OS peaks, the game will page. Should both OS and GAME peak, then your PC will become unresponsive possibly needing rebooted.Think of it this way a car has 4 wheels. If one goes Flat it can drive but below optimal performance. Suppose a second goes flat, it’s now very dangerous. What if a wheel fell off? Some cars will still operate but would be suicidal to do so. No harm will come to a PC but minimum requirements are quoted by manufacturers for a reason.

"32-bit operating system x64-based processor Windows 8.1" What does this mean?

It means your processor can support a 64-bit OS, and you're running 32-bit OS on it. Now a days almost all the CPUs are 64-bit. 32-bit and 64-bit are both different architectures. Even though Windows 32-bit and 64-bit look the same on both type of processors.A 64-bit OS can benefit you, if you have larger amounts of RAM installed on your Computer (4 GB or more, as Windows 32-bit OS will pretend anything above 3.2 GB isn't there). A 64-bit OS can handle large amounts of memory more efficiently than a 32-bit operating system, a 64-bit system can be more responsive when running several programs at the same time, and switching between them frequently. If you have 4 GB RAM and a modern 64-bit processor then you should install Windows 64-bit, as the 64-bit version of an OS can handle a computer with these specifications more efficiently. But if you have lesser RAM (less than 4 GB ) than stick to 32-bit OS.

Windows Movie Maker Question Regarding MB and GB?

Im trying to save my video to a movie file, I've never done this before. Im about to start the download, and it says it takes 19.48 MB space required, and I have 12.38 GB space available on the C drive. Is this enough space?
