Why can't I see Pixiv images on Firefox?

Before yesterday I was able to view pictures on Pixiv, then I downloaded Firefox 4 & after that I wasn't able to even see thumbnails on the site. I thought it just might've been the newer version of Firefox so I reinstalled Firefox 3.6.17, but I still couldn't see the images. I then downloaded both Chrome & IE & they work fine, but I want to stay with Firefox.

Is anyone else in this position or is there anything I can do to get it back to the way it was?

Why do the images I've coded into a website only show up in Firefox, but not in any other browsers?

The images that I found in the markup, like Donate to Mexicoand Donate Ribbonshow up in all browsers correctly. There are no other images in the markup.Edit: found it! You have it setup as background image in CSS! Why?! But ok, even so your links are:file:///Macintosh%20HD/Users/StaticTortilla/Desktop/Precision-Skeleton/images/neck.pngIt should a path to the file on your server, not to the file on your computer. Try 'http://www.myericroberts.com/pre... or relative path 'images/neck.png'On the side note: you should include a link somewhere on the nav or header to direct back to index.html for usability.

Yahoo Group Images Not Showing?

Hello,

I belong to a Yahoo Message Board Group (actually the moderator) and I can not
see my images when I upload them to the Album Section. That is in the past I
have not had any problems, until the past several days. Plus other people can
see the images (on their browser), but not me.

I tried my FireFox Browser, AOL Browser, IE Browser and only 2-3 images show,
but 7 other images do not. I though it was my jpg uploads, but now it must be
my computer (I am using a PC XP Operation System, using AlarmZone and Avast, etc).

Any help will me very much appreciated,

SyBerGuy

CAPTCHA image verification not showing!?

CAPTCHA's are accomplished with cookies.
Try this:
For Firefox, configure this first:
Tools> Options> Privacy: top drop menu set to "Firefox will use custom settings..."> Check 'Accept Cookies from sites'
►Un-Check 'Accept 3rd Party cookies'
Go to the site needing cookies> copy that URL> Tools> options> Privacy> Exceptions> (paste that URL into slot)> Allow> Close.
This small utility will assist managing (allow/disallow) cookies on a "site-by-site" basis:
Cookie Button 0.9.3: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1247

"NoScript' users may have to "temporarily allow....." from the blue 'S' tray icon.
Supplemental blockers, in browsers mainly, may have to be muted, or 'site allowed'.
No need to relax any other cookie settings (which help deter junk ads, pop-ups', malware etc.):

Internet Explorer users, do this first (IE, pre-8, should NOT be used: to many 'broken' security aspects):
Tools> Internet options> Security> tick the "Internet" icon> Security level box> set slider to "Medium high"> OK out.
Then:
Go to the site needing approval & copy the URL from address bar, then:
Tools> Internet Options> Privacy> Sites> paste that URL into top line> Allow> OK> OK.
The "Pop-up Blocker" may also need to be modified to accommodate the site.
Tools> Internet Options> Pop up blocker heading> Settings> repeat URL pasting into the slot> Close> OK.

General cookie settings should be:
Tools> Internet Options> Privacy> Advanced: tick "Override..."; Allow 1st party cookies; Allow session Cookies ►BLOCK 3rd Party cookies> OK> OK.

Why are the neopets pictures not showing up?

I have fast internet and it isn't letting me even go to the page quickly if not at all. I went to the page a few hours before this problem has started and it shows all the words for the items and what-not but none of the pictures of anything are showing up. Did I do something or is it just Neopets?

Why is the HTML alt attribute text not showing in Firefox?

The Firefox behavior would be correct. The alt attribute was never intended to be a tooltip. A tooltip could be any supplemental information and should be added via the title attribute. Alt text, on the other hand, is intended to be a description of the image in case the image doesn't load or for those with viewing impairments. According to W3Schools (HTML img alt Attribute), alt should follow these guidelines: The text should describe the image if the image contains informationThe text should explain where the link goes if the image is inside an elementUse alt="" if the image is only for decorationSome browsers, notably, Internet Explorer, do turn alt text into tooltips, but this is not the correct behavior for the reasons mentioned above.

ReCAPTCHA is not being shown by any browsers. I tried Firefox, Chrome, and Opera, but still have the problem. How can I resolve this?

Hey, this problem may cause for several reasons. You can try the following workarounds to work it out or refer to this article to learn more details.Way 1: Repair "Captcha image not working" through Control PanelStep 1: Open your browser and clear cookies completely. For Google Chrome: refer to how to clear Google Chrome cookiesFor other browsers: refer to how to erase cookies in your browserStep 2: If you use a third-party browser, you might not have the same menu. You can make a setting through Control Panel. Then navigate to Network and Internet > Internet Options.Step 3: When the Internet Options window popups, click Delete under the General tab and choose cookies to delete.Step 4: Then switch to Privacy tab, tap on Settings.Step 5: In the Pop-up Blocker Settings window, select Medium: Block most automatic pop-ups under the Blocking level and Close the window.Step 6: Here click on the Advanced tab, check the box front Show pictures under Multimedia part. Now relaunch your browser to check it.Way 2: Reinstall your Flash PlayerIf your Flash Player is in low version, you may see a red cross in the captcha graphic image. Therefore, you can reinstall Flash Player to the latest version.Way 3: Change the data value in RegistryStep 1: Press Windows + R key to invoke the Run dialog. Type "regedit" in the box and press Enter.Step 2: Follow the directory below to open the folder:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SecurityStep 3: If you cannot find the "BlockXBM" option in the Security folder, right click to create New > DWORD. You can open another browser and locate to Windows > System 32 > pngfilt.dll, copy it and paste into the same place on your PC. Yahoo avatar maker not showing up?

Mine has been a skeleton page since Yahoo changed the pulse to profile. I have Adobe flash, but I updated it anyway and it didn't help. I've done everything I can think of, even posting all over the Suggestion Board. I've done everything they suggested and nothing works. I can access my Favorites and delete them, but when I click an option it don't show in the avatar pane. My avatar doesn't show there either. I have it on all sites except there. You can try clearing your cache of temp files, history and cookies and see if that helps you. It didn't me. I hope something works for you. We are not alone, others have this same problem. Can't find a fix for it.

How to save istockphoto.com images faster (preferably a Firefox add-ons), i.e. not one by one (manually)?

I'm using Firefox (3.0.1). Well, actually this has been my long time trouble. The scenario goes like this: I go to istockphoto.com to search for images, then I get the images (search results). When I put my mouse cursor (hovering) over every thumbnails, it will pop up the bigger image (although it isn't the real big size, cause I have to register and pay to get the originals, but this one is enough for me, although it has istockphoto's watermark). What I want to do is to save every images to my computer as I explore the pop-ups, i.e. without manually doing right-click and then Save Image As. I want to do these automatically (saving to a folder in my computer).
