Citation machine question??

The two different styles are MLA and APA. It can get really confusing...I am an English teacher and I will tell you that! If you are a student your teacher should tell you which style to use...if you are doing something on your own it depends...

APA is used for scientific and technical research. Instructors in behavioral science and hard science courses may require you to use APA style for your references or bibliography page.

MLA is used for research on general topics and literary criticism. Most instructors in English and Developmental Studies classes will require you to use MLA style.

This site give you a basic comparison of the two....

As for length....it depends on how much information is avalible for the source you are citing...sometimes you can find all the information that is need and sometimes you can't.
Just put in the information you can find and the length will be correct. Generally a "cite" will be one to two lines depending on the amount of information you have availble.

I hope this helps you!

How to do in-text citations MLA style?

Google came up with the most confusing results. :/
So, when doing in-text citations, what comes first (author, page, date..?) ???
And inn what order?
Is it like (Author, page number) or...
that's it, I'm confused.

Help with easy math question but i dont get it please answer i have been trying for hours.?

Divide $55 by 0.75 which will give you how many they must sell to break even, then just add one to the answer and you're making a profit.

$55 / 0.75 = 73.3333333
Therefore if they sell 74 or more glasses they will make a profit.

Hope this helps =)

A general chem question, may seem simple but i can't figure out how to approach the problem. Help please?

This is just a unit conversion thing

so set up a chain of conversion factors to cancel all the unwanted units like this:

Number of kg required = 2550 tablets x [81 mg / tablet] x [ 1 g / 1000 mg] x [1 kg / 1000 g]

= 0.20655 kg

BUT the least number of significant digits in the given data is 2 ... so the answer can't have more than 2 sig figs

so 0.21 kg (to 2 sig figs) of aspirin should be manufactured

How to do APA in text citations?

The APA Wizard is designed to help you create an APA (5th ed.) citation. It will take you through the steps for the most common types of cited works providing you with assistance on how to input specific information. As long as you enter the information correctly, the Wizard will result in a correct APA citation.
