Ipod Nano Emits Strange Beeping Sound?

My ipod nano just recently was charging during a very bad thunderstorm, and when I played it the day after everything was just fine. Then I tried to put it to sleep to turn it off and save battery and it would not shut off. I figured maybe this could be fixed by resetting it. I reset it and then now it is showing the backlight on, the apple symbol in the middle of the screen, and emits a 3 note tone. The tone comes from the ipod itself and not though headphones as it still emits whether the headphones are attached or not. When I connect it to the computer the computer does not appear to register that it is there. Am thinking only option is to let it run out of batteries and tinker with it then, anybody else had any good outcomes from a problem like this? (or suggestions)

IPod Touch sound cuts out?

I have an iPod Touch from last August, and I love it. The only problem is that, at certain points in certain songs (always the same), the sound cuts out. It comes back after a moment or two, sometimes as long as five seconds or so. It's not the songs because they play fine on my laptop. I tried restoring the settings, that didn't work. Any ideas?

How do you troubleshoot an iPod charger that is not working?

Unless it is something obvious like a broken wire in the cable, it is probably easier to just replace it.  You could cut it open and maybe find a burned component, but getting a replacement and changing it out and putting it all back to gether is probably not cost effective.  Interesting, but not cost effective.

Why do some songs on my ipod sound scratched?

It doesn't sound like the problem is with the iPod, especially if you restored--it's probably the songs. If the songs that sound scratched on the iPod were ones you ripped from CDs, this seems to be an issue when these songs are put on iPods sometimes. You might either need to get the songs from another source, or try to re-rip them from CDs (clean the CDs off before you re-rip; seems like the iPod might be having trouble reading the files and it could be because the CDs had scratches, were dirty, etc. iPods seem more sensitive to data interference than other mp3 players do). Also, might not work, but try converting the files using another converter, not iTunes. Take the files you have, download a free mp3 converter...even if the songs are already in mp3 format, select to convert to mp3 anyway. Then re-sync.

My new iPod Touch (2015) won't play sound other than music. What can I do to fix this problem?

Your iPod is muted! When the iPod is muted it mutes all sounds except, wait for it, alarms and music! The iPod has a different profile for headphones so when you plug in headphones it's no longer muted. Go into your Settings>Sounds and there is an option there for Ringer and Alerts. Turn off "Change with Buttons". Now when you adjust the volume it should unmute your iPod.If that doesn't work, try these tips. http://www.maxkpage.com/blog/how...
