Is 130 Too Thin For A Female 5

Is 135 too thin for a 5'10 woman?

I'm 5'10 and 165 right now. I have a bigger top half (big arms, a bit of a belly), but my bottom half is pretty small. I have smaller hips, not much of a butt and pretty decent legs( I can wear shorts). I don't really know what my pants size is. I have a pair of jeans that are a size 7, and 2 that are a 9, so somewhere around there. My goal weight has been 135, but i've been wondering if that is too thin. I wouldn't consider myself "fat" right now, just "chubby". I'm confused as to what weight I should be. I heard 150 is the average for my height, but I feel like I might still look big. Is 135 too thin? What is a good goal weight, where i'll be better than average? I want a nice body, not an average body.

5' 10" 130 pound female - am I too thin? I can't tell?

That is a little on the underweight side (according to the BMI scale), probably more so if a lot of that is muscle mass.
You probably need to be eating more if you're exercising that much, and especially if you're doing a lot of heavy weight lifting, but it really depends on your genetics.

I am 5'10 and usually around 140...if I go down to 135 my rib cage is a little visible, and my hip bones stick out. It really depends on where your body holds your weight.

Is 5'7" and 116 pounds too thin?

That's how much I weigh, and several people are always telling me I'm too skinny.I used to be around 135,and then I lost a bunch of weight last year because I didn't like weighing that much.I've put on atleast five pounds since then, but they're still not happy.Am I too thin,in your opinion?

Whats Too Thin For The Height Of 5'6??

When you weigh 120/130 you'll be on the right track. Don't try to lose weight too fast, it could be hazardous for your health. You should decide how many calories you want in your diet, and then I would recomend looking for items that are low calorie, but also low fat, but it all depends on what you are doing for your diet. The main thing for a diet to work is just to consume fewer calories than what you are burning, so lower calorie is best. But the thing about just lower calorie is that you don't want to get something that is lower calorie, but still has a ton of fat, and you don't want to get something that is low calorie but with a ton of sugar. Just look at the labels and you need to figure out what fits into YOUR diet.

Is a 5′7″ tall girl weighing 112 pounds too thin?

Hon, you can Google a question like weight for height—you don’t have to ask this in Quora. Looking at this website (BMI Calculator) and putting in 5′7″ and 112 pounds, I got this result:BMI is equal to or less than 18.5 (Underweight)A lean BMI can indicate that your weight maybe too low. You should consult your physician to determine if you should gain weight, as low body mass can decrease your body's immune system, which could lead to ilness such as disappearance of periods (women), bone loss, malnutrition and other conditions. The lower your BMI the greater these risks become.Read our Underweight Treatment article for some measures you can take.Note: Since Body Fat Percentage calculations use total body weight and not estimates of lean muscle mass and fat, BMI can not determine between the overweight and the more muscular. Use our Body Fat Calculator and Waist to Hip Ratio Calculatorin combination with our BMI Calculator for a more accurate view of your body fat.

Is 113 lbs too skinny for a grown woman who is 5'9"?

Well according to female BMI, yes that would be too low, especially since 5′9″/175 cm is tall for a woman. However, BMI isn’t an accurate measure of weight on someone. But that usually applies more to being “overweight/obese” than underweight and the BMI measure of “normal/healthy” can nowadays be considered underweight by some people and “overweight” can be considered healthy (BMI doesn't take into account muscle mass). In other words, 113 lbs at 5′9″ is really skinny!Supposedly, the “ideal” woman is 5′10″ and exactly 120 lbs with no more than a 20 BMI and at least a 34C cup. This is what Victoria’s Secret uses for their measures of a supermodel. And it’s subjective to say whether you think that is really skinny or not (I personally do). But anything below that would be considered ‘less than ideal,’ or “too skinny,” even by their standards. And you are an inch shorter and seven pounds less than that. So assuming you had the “ideal” body, you’d still be considered underweight. You can use the Body Size Photo Gallery or MyBodyGallery.com to see what non-model women look like. They even have the same height and weight of women on there. It can range from “anorexic-looking” to “supermodel fit.” Doing so might give you the best scope on what other women that tall and light look like.So is 5′9″ 113 “too skinny” for a woman? Well, it’s partially too skinny, but mostly just subjective. For me, it’s personally too skinny for a tall woman by at least 30 pounds. But as long as you’re healthy and happy, who cares what anyone else thinks?

5'8'' and 130 lbs- too skinny? Too fat?

I'm a 16-year-old female, and recently I've been getting a lot of comments about my weight. Recently a aunt remarked that I've been looking too thin, and a friend of mine later commented that "you're looking so skinny I want to put some meat on those bones". However, my mother and cousin have both told me to go on a diet. Mother is slightly overweight, the cousin significantly underweight (she's a model). I'm feeling a bit irratated at these mixed signals. What do YOU think? I'd appreciate honest and polite answers. :D
