Is It A Bad Idea To Sell House Privately

Is it better to buy a used car from a dealer, private owner, or auction house?

Private owner: lots of risk for you, no recourse
Auction: you're buying "as seen" so if there are bullet holes in the seats too bad, you own it!
Dealer: if you play your cards right, it's your best option.

For one thing, you can have dealers compete because it's a market and each one wants your business. Use this to your advantage and call them before going in and ask them for their bottom line price for XYZ (which you've seen on their website). Tell them you'll call other dealers with similar cars too and only go forward with dealers who give you a real price on this. Mojo Motors does this, but isn't available outside New England.

I read that dealerships provide better financing than banks and I have to be honest, it's not true. Dealers make the most money from the small, window-less financing "department" (sometimes just a large storage closet!). If you're paying cash, don't tell until you've settled on the price. A low-ball price is more than made up for with crazy finance charges.

How much will it cost to sell my house with and without a realtor?

Don't use a realtor. THey charge a ridiculous amount of money for the work that you cna do yourself if you are willing to do the research

First, check your counties property appraisers website for the recent sales of homes in your neighborhood. Find similar homes that sold and use the number as a basis for your home.

Next advertise the home anywhere you can. there are multiple websites you can use to market your home.

When you finally find a buyer, hire a real estate attorney to handle the paper work for you. They will do this for a fraction of the price you would have paid a realtor. if your homes value is really 155k then you could expect to pay as much as $9300.

How many cars can you buy and sell in georgia without a dealers licence?

As many as you want as long as you register them in your name and pay the tax every time.
Dealer's license allows you not to pay tax when you buy cars because you buy them for resale. If you don't have a license and resell without registration and paying tax, you are "flipping" cars, which is illegal.
You can do it once or twice before you are caught.

My real estate agent doesn't want to show me houses until mine is in escrow?

Edit to add info: Thank you for your input. My real estate agent has been a close friend for 16 years. I haven't signed anything, and my home is not officially on the market yet. She lives in a different county, 70 miles from me. I'm in Los Angeles and she is in Ventura. She insists this will not affect her ability or effectiveness as my realtor.

I have asked her twice to check the status of 4 inactive listings. They were all recently pulled from the MLS. I simply wanted to know if they were off the market for good or if they might be relisted.

I've been to several open houses to discover "what I'm looking for." I know what I want and could probably find it myself. I simply wanted to know if she was taking advantage of the friendship and the fact that I'm a "sure thing."

I guess there is no easy answer. *sigh*
