Which is the best: PS3, PS3 Slim, or PS3 Super Slim?

I would say the super slim. I've owned multiple of the other 2 but only 1 super slim. The original PS3 isn't worth your money, you'll have it a couple of months then the YLOD will mentally kill you or your motherboard will mess up, or the disc 'tray' will break (don't know what to call it, as it just slides in :D) so many problems with this console that they should all be sledgehammered.the slim was the console that should have been released first, even if we had to wait a little longer for it. It was way better but still had many, many faults, many of them were still the same. I had to buy a fan for the slim because the overheating was overwhelming. I also had the same problem with the disc 'tray'.but the super slim, the only way the disc tray could break is if you did it yourself. I didn't have one problem with it and I had it for 2 years. Well, it didn't come on one time but that was because of the power cable, which I replaced after of course. That was the longest I ever had a PS3 for. The others lasted probably 1 year max lol.If your actually considering buying a PS3 then deffo the super slim. I'd rather spend that money for the PS3 on a PS1, won't last as long but the nostalgia is incredible, always get goosebumps

Is PS3 now worth it even in 2018?

If you mean is it worth getting a PS3 now then personally for me no. I say that because of the fact that there are a plethora of games on the PS4 now. If you were thinking about getting the PS3 for the reason of playing the games available on the PS3 and not avail is on the PS4 then I’d say take a look at PS Now, it allows you to stream old games that were for the PS3, PS2 and I think some for the PS1 but I’m not entirely sure. So definitely check if the games you want to play are on there, the service does cost I think around £12 so it’s up to you if you want to pay that. Also it’s good to know that the PS3 was discontinued over 2 years ago and last year for Japan so you won’t see anything new regarding the PS3. Hope this helps.

How durable is the PS4 Pro? My PS3 Super Slim just died, and I wonder how long the Pro can last.

Obviously there are many variables that make a console last longer. Also when you bought it, etc.I’ve had my PS4 (non-pro) for aprx 2y now, and it’s not in optimal conditions… but there it goes.It’s not like the console costs €1000…. where people will buy expensive phones, tablets, laptops, etc…. and they die faster or are broken more often. So why worry so much about a console??? If anything, there are store plans to extend warranty, etc. And home insurance might cover some cases, too.Again, it’s a console. Do you expect it to last 20y? :P
