Loud Stomach, Intestinal, and Anal noises?

Ok well, this is kind of embarrasing but, usually in school I'll be sitting and odd and loud noises will rumble from my bowels, sometimes uncontrollably. I want to know how I can stop my bowels from making so much noise.

How long does it take for your stomach to empty after a meal?

How long something takes to be digested depends on your metabolism and the combination of the food.Foods with a high water content, when eaten alone, will be digested much faster than high density foods. On an empty stomach, grapes will be digested in 10 - 15 minutes. That's why it was traditional to take grapes to people in hospital. Mixing refined carbs with hi density proteins will slow the system down because they require more enzymes to break them down. Eating a burger, bun, french fries, cheese and washing it down with a giant chilled coke is much the same as swallowing a big ball of chewing gum. The gastric juices required to digest the average American diet is the reason that so many people suffer from GERD. People believe the remedy for acid reflux is to swallow antacids, this actually makes the problem worse.Even salads end up being a huge plateful of mixed carbs and proteins and while people think they are eating a healthy mea. If it contains mixed animal protein, cheese, croutons, fruit with only a few token salad ingredients it's not.An all raw salad consisting only of vegetables will be digested within two to three hours. Add a small steak and it will take approx five hours. Broiled chicken salad four hours and light fish approx four -- that's as long as nothing is breadcrumbed and fried. When you don't allow the food time to digest before eating another meal then the food will still be in the stomach. In serious conditions it can be there for more than 12 hours and when the stomach can't deal with it anymore it will be chucked into the intestines. Often the food is highly acidic and the large intestines produce mucous plaque to protect the lining. Sometimes these balls of mucous become imbedded in the intestinal wall and lead to all sorts of bowel complaints. When you see someone with a distended, firm belly, the chances are they are walking around with 25 pounds of mucoid plaque in their system.

Why is my stomach growling but I'm not hungry?

Mine does the same thing, I believe it is because of what you eat. I have grown accustomed to it over the years but when I want it to not be present (dates, sleeping with people, somewhere quiet) then I eat olives, I have found that they do wonders for settling of the stomach.I believe it is related to gas inside your body, another hint is to not hold in passing gas (farts, burping) that has helped me and I hope these help you.

Why does my stomach sound like a toilet flushing?

Haha lol at Coley xD

But seriously, no, don't worry, it's just your food digesting. Depending on what you've eaten/drunk your stomach, intestines have to work harder.

Don't worry though, my stomach makes weird noises too. Sometimes they are so loud I look around to see if anyone's noticed *shame*

Just remember to drink plenty of water to keep things healthy.

But if you have swallowed a toilet... well :P

Every time i push out my stomach, it makes a bubbling sound. what is this? what causes this to?

Believe it or not, it is only gas, or perhaps a little air in there that moves around. Your bowels are constantly working on something. Here want to try something? Ready? Do this. Take a few deep breaths, in out pause, in out pause. Do this a few times. Now take one last deep breath and slowly and forcefully push out all the air, oxygen that you can. Do not breath in yet, stand up straight and pull your stomach in as hard as you can, without breathing in. Hold it long as you can. Okay breath in now. This will strip the waste material from your intestines. And probably settle your stomach. If you can, do it on a daily basis.

What happens when you get shot in the stomach?

It largely depends how the bullet would traverse the inner organs in the upper abdomen:This is a transverse section of the upper abdomen just below the lowest part of your breastbone:and this is the same a bit lower down:The biggest worry would be a hole in either the biggest artery the aorta or right next to it the big vein the inferior vena cava, one can bleed to death within minutes if the surrounding tissue don't keep the blood from freely flowing out.A hole in one of the large organs with lots of blood in them e.g. the spleen and the liver, maybe one of the kidneys, would also cause a bleeding, but that usually can be treated up to some hours later.A hole in the stomach or the intestines will cause stomach acid or intestinal bacteria to contaminate the peritoneum, causing a peritonitis, a serious infection that can be fatal if not treated within half a day or so.If the pancreas was damaged it could cause a severe pancreatitis. So if one doesn't immediately bleed to death, usually surgery is indicated if the bullet's entry wound really was into the belly, since we should check all organs for tears to either repair or in acute war situations put lots of gauze to pack the bleeding locally, closing the abdomen and transferring the wounded to a better equiped hospital in the second line, there the intestines and the stomach  after having been inspected for holes are to be repaired, the peritoneum irrigated to clear the contamination as much as possible, the non viable tissue removed and then either the abdominal wall is closed, or if there was too much edema the wound left open do not to elevated the intra-abdominal pressure which could be closing of the venous return through the inferior vena cava prevents the heart from getting filled with enough blood to be able to pump enough blood around (circulatory shock due to Abdominal compartment syndrome). The bullet's path can determined by ricochet against bony structures like the spine, the pelvis, higher up the ribs

How many hours does it take normally for the stomach to empty totally after a good meal. Is it a good eating habit not to eat during this time?

It all depends on what you’ve eaten, how you’ve eaten it and if you’ve had anything to drink along with it or after it such as caffeine or alcohol. There are plenty of variables at play here such as age, metabolism, BMI, health of the person and so on. If you usually eat calorie rich food such as meat, then it takes almost4–5 hours for the stomach to get rid of it (red meat can stay in your system 3 to 4 days after consumption and longer in the digestive tract). Typically your stomach should empty within 2 -3 hours. When you are ill, food can stagnate in the stomach for longer periods of time, or even quickly move on to the small intestines.Effect of caffeine on digestion:Coffee’s known to encourage the stomach to release its contents into the small intestine before complete digestion has occurred.Food that doesn’t get fully digested often ends up sitting and rotting in the gut. This creates a toxic environment ideal for ‘bad’ bacteria to spread in the intestines, damages the intestinal wall, and leads to inflammation and an immune response to enzymes in the coffee.Coming to the second part of your question, most people nowadays eat according to their work timings or social situations rather than when they actually feel hungry. So it would be best to listen to your body and eat only when you physically feel hungry, rather than eating something just because its there and available. So, no, it would not be a good thing to eat during this time, as the stomach has already sent signals to the brain that it is full.
