Can we appear for the UGC-NET exam after receiving an M.Tech from BITS Pilani (i.e. WILP)?
Not valid with BITS WILP degree.Even you can't do Ph D.Technical courses required practical/lab work, And through distance education mode not valid. Why hasn't the Indian government added BITS Pilani as an institute of national importance?
Honestly, we don't really care whether the government considers us important or not.But, on a serious note, I don't think BITS is in good relations with the government. If I'm not wrong, they had a spat over implementing caste based reservations and BITS stood it's ground.Maybe that's why.EDIT:As Akash pointed out, the Birlas have a good rapport with the government. But the real reason behind not recognizing it as an institute of national importance is tha the university has not given the reins, even partly to the government, as IISc did.

Hostel’s mess is better as it updates food according to the seasons and the classrooms are well maintained and equipped with smart classes.Faculty : Faculty members are the best in comparison to other colleges because they teach in a funny way which helps students to grasp the content. Every year, all the courses get some minor updates and hence, gets revised. Library in JNU, there are 3 libraries in all the 3 campuses and tons of books are available for learning. Conferences, seminars and big events, there is pretty much everything that happens in an academic year. Faculty members are friendly in nature and helping that they help the students to grow and enhance their skills for future campus placements.Other : It is the best university in all perspective, especially, the fees is comparatively low than other colleges and universities. Infrastructure, faculty members, courses and facilities, all are good but one should know how to efficiently utilize it for its own good. It also conducts fest every year.
