If you have money for an xbox then you better have money for live and microsoft points cause those will come in handy. Now the slim has a 250gb hard drive which is good and also has built in wi-fi so its like the ps3 which can pick up a internet connection signal. I mean go ahead and get one because the online for xbox is better than ps3 but some say that microsoft only released the slim is to compete with the ps3 because most people say the ps3 is better. If you want a fun online experience then go ahead and get one but be warned that an xbox is a bad investment like a car. Your just throwing money into it. But it is a great online experience and the time for downloads are much faster. If your not leaning towards it then just save your money for something better or just use that money towards some ps3 stuff like a mic and some games.

PS3s should be able to work just fine despite the existence of a newer generation. Even if Sony discontinued support for it, you'd still be able to play all of your games on it.Unless you really want to play games from the newer generation, there's no need to shy away from buying an older console. If you're like me and play cheaper games at a slower pace (patient gaming), then an old console is a very good choice.How much are used PS3s now, anyway? It is definitely worth it. Wii is out of the question...360 is pretty good...but PS3 is king of the next generation. People complain about he PS3 price but let's look at it from a different angle. Take the 360 and PS3. Now let's make them somewhat equal, i.e. pricewise and hd capability by adding the HD add on to the 360. Now you have two systems with High Def capability, and same price, since the HD addon is $200. 360-20 gigs while ps3-60 gigs 360-tri core processor, ps3-8 core processor 360-HD DVD (25 gig limit), ps3-Blu-Ray (50 gig+ limit)...not to mention more motion picture and manufactor support. Two systems, same price. People complain about the price tag yet you get more for your money with the PS3. And with a technologically superior system, comes greater capabilities. That is why PS3 is king. Also, I don't see it going down to 300 anytime in the next 3 years.
Is the playstation 4 worth buying?
No it is not worth buying right now in my opinion unless there are games coming out or are already out that you are intrested in buying and playing for it. For me personally the only game I play is nba2k14 on my ps4 because no other games that have come out intrest me. I would say wait until around Oct 2014 for all the good next gen games to come out.

If you mean is it worth getting a PS3 now then personally for me no. I say that because of the fact that there are a plethora of games on the PS4 now. If you were thinking about getting the PS3 for the reason of playing the games available on the PS3 and not avail is on the PS4 then I’d say take a look at PS Now, it allows you to stream old games that were for the PS3, PS2 and I think some for the PS1 but I’m not entirely sure. So definitely check if the games you want to play are on there, the service does cost I think around £12 so it’s up to you if you want to pay that. Also it’s good to know that the PS3 was discontinued over 2 years ago and last year for Japan so you won’t see anything new regarding the PS3. Hope this helps.
Is it worth buying all motorstorm games?
I have only played MotorStorm Apocalypse myself but hell that was fun. I really suggest you buy them all, but there are also lots of other games, if you are looking for racing games look on the PSN store and in local gaming stores, as you can find some gems of racing games and such if you look hard enough.
