Is This A Good Computer Setup

Most Secure computer setup?

Tor does encrypt your traffic through the Tor network until the exit node. Then encrypted when it enters to your computer.

So what type of security are you looking for? If anonymity is what you are looking for then Tor is your best bet. VPN are not anonymous, most will keep logs and turn them over when asked.

One of your criteria is "As close to complete anonymity as possible...". So Tails or Liberte Linux (Liberte uses Gentoos hardened Kernel) is your choice for out of the box anonymity. As with almost all GNU/Linux distros, you can set them up any way you like. You can route all traffic through the Tor network with the other distros. The Tor Browser is not a good choice. The government has and will continue to find flaws in the Firefox or Windows to compromise your anonymity.

Since you want anonymity and security, Winblows is not even on the table.

"A good GUI If i set this system up i dont want to have to rock a terminal all day"
A distro with KDE (K Desktop Environment) is probably one of the best looking DEs. Here are some others.

You can install different DEs to distros. Many distros allow you to choose what DE you would like to have. You can install many different DEs and choose which to use at login.

Another option would be to create an Onion Pi. This will create an access point that routes all traffic through Tor. Although TAILS or Liberte Linux is a better option.

"i dont want to have to rock a terminal all day"
This is true, as anyone that used DOS back in the day. There is a reason why the GUI replaced the command line.

But.......

As time goes by you will realize that you are suing the terminal more and more. Once you know the commands, it makes things MUCH quicker.

As another poster stated a hardware firewall is a good idea. Use an old computer with IPCop or pfSense. There are many others:

What are some good computer table and chair setups for the house, for desktop or laptop use?

What is the best 2.1 computer speaker setup?

Simplest and best way on a budget is to buy a pair of powered monitors and a powered subwoofer. No need to have to move a receiver and connect and disconnect that, but run power to each pair of speakers and a RCA line level input to each.

Best budget powered speakers I believe are the Tannoy 501a's ($350 pr) and a Velodyne or REL powered subwoofer. ($200 on up)

Can't run setup on older computer game?

OK, this is a bit complex.
First, take notice of the setup's file name.
Open Task manager and go to the "processes" tab.
Sort them by name (click on the "Name" heading cell)
Find the program's name in the process list.
If yes, select it and click End Process, then try again.
If not, see if msiexec.exe is on that list, then, if found, terminate it. Try again.
Finally, if none of the above works, try finding the program on the internet.
If this doesn't work on your PC, but works on another running XP or older Windows, then it is totally incompatible with Windows 7. (sorry, can't help you anymore)
Fingers crossed and good luck!

Is a PoWork power supply good enough for my computer setup/video card?

I will be buying a new video card (XFX GeForce 8800GT) and my current PSU wattage is at a dismal 300. I know nothing about PSU's, but I've done a little research and came up with a PoWork PSU 680W at a very cheap price (which is scary), but I don't know much about the voltage, etc. http://cgi.ebay.com/POWORK-680-Watt-PC-Power-Supply-with-PCI-Express-NIB_W0QQitemZ360067395303QQihZ023QQcategoryZ44949QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
I know that the video card requires around 400W or more. My computer is an HP Media Center PC m7250n. http://www.amazon.com/Photosmart-Pentium-Processor-SuperMulti-LightScribe/dp/B000BIZ84Y
But I don't use the external Hard Drive.
So what makes the PoWork so inexpensive?
