Why do some women/girls like to wear thongs and g-strings?
I’ve wondered the same thing for a long time. I can’t stand them. I’ve got a bubble butt and they just ride up and up and it is so maddening. Lots of women say they like them because then they are not worrying about wedgies, but I don’t think the solution is to give yourself a permanent wedgie instead -.- It also is not solely about having fabric wedged between your cheeks, but also that the fabric rides up between the…“lips” I guess you could say. And if you’ve got maybe some asymmetry going on down there, as most women do, then nothing you do is going to alleviate that rubbing… (see why I am posting anonymously? :D)I’ve got a bunch of thongs, but I buy them exclusively for the sexytimes with my huzzy; he prefers the Victoria’s Secret cheeksters over those anyway. It seems a lot of other women on here with bigger butts prefer thongs. I prefer boyshorts and hiphuggers, so everything is contained. I would’ve thought that women with no butts at all would prefer thongs, the same way women with huge boobs need very supportive bras (I am small-chested, so you see how I came up with the comparison, lol.) You learn something new every day.I also don’t like the feeling of the inside of my jeans rubbing on my bare tush. My skin is sensitive and I have eczema, so possible flare-ups are not worth it. It would be so rough and uncomfortable, I don’t know how wearing a certain style of thong compensates for that!As for the whole pesky panty lines thing, I’ve done just fine with thin seamless panties for years; your panty lines will show if they are too tight, for one thing, or if you are wearing the wrong style for your clothes.I also agree with another person who wrote that a woman’s panty lines are primarily judged by other women. I’ve never heard another man comment on a woman’s panty lines, nor hold such a thing against her. I’m sure they have other things on their mind if they are looking at your butt ;p

You can compliment your girlfriend when you are impressed with her appearance, but have no right to behave as a dictator and try to control her manner of dress.Don’t forget that two people who care for one another are free to express their concerns (respectfully) to one another.There is a possibility that said girl/woman does not intend for her underwear to be apparent to random spectators.Ironically, some people choose thong/g-string underwear as being more discreet than bikini briefs or boyshorts because they are designed to combat “visible panty line”.So your girlfriend can wear what she likes but there is always a chance that she is unaware that her undergarment is visible to strangers and would choose to dress differently with this knowledge.

Can people tell if a man is wearing panties or women's jeans?
I have this fear as well when I wear panties. I have noticed that if you wear normal bikini or hipster daily wear panties, it is difficult to differentiate from normal underwear. However, I have seen that lace, nylon and satin panties either have a serrated leg band or look different in the back or have a prominent and high gusset line. So people can notice that you are wearing something different - a Brazilian tanga, etc. usually only women wear panties with prominent gusset lines.the above is for scenarios when you are wearing a loose dark color trouser. Light, or tight trousers will probably give away. Even no panty line panties have a light thin very smooth panty line, and that may be noticeable.Panties have elastic leg bands, hence they fit snugly on legs, unlike Male briefs. So the panty lines look very smooth, regular, geometric. Mens briefs don’t make the same line.Regarding jeans, I doubt it unless the jeans have girly, feminine frills or designs.
