How do DLL errors affect my computer?

The answer to that is no, by itself it will not be able to harm your computer.The .dll file by itself is not executable and cannot be run without hooking up to an executable file.Now on the other hand, if the .dll file is hooked to an executable file that is meant to cause your computer harm then it is possible that it can be dangerous.That is why usually when you see a new .dll file on your computer then there is going to be a .exe file somewhere around there.Make sure that you scan the two together so that just in case you run them you will not have to worry about your computer becoming infected with something bad.A .dll file by itself is not going to be able to harm your computer.You must worry about other factors that go along with the .dll file, such as a malicious .exe file that is paired with it.Reference and further reading :What Is A .dll File And Can It Harm My Computer?

I cant play n e of my pc games?

I've read up a lot on RAM and virtual memory and i think the problem is that you don't have enough RAM to run world of warcraft. it's a big program for the pc to run. anyways, the message comes up because you don't have enough RAM, so the computer tries to access the virtual memory and store stuff in there, but can't do that either, because it's too demanding or you don't have enough. i would recommend upgrading your RAM if you have less than 512 MB. (512 is bare minimum. i recommend 1 GB) If you have 512 MB or more, then i would recommend that you expand your virtual memory. notice at the very end of the message it says the page file is MINUS 174657536, which means you don't have enough virtual memory. so to expand it, hold down the windows key and press the pause break button on the keyboard (it's near the number pad), or right click on "my computer" and click properties. a window will pop up. go over to "advanced", then under performance click "settings. another window will pop up. go to "advanced" in this window, and at the bottom it will say "virtual memory". click the button saying "change". then change both the initial and the maximum number to the same number. make it at least 1000 MB. it can only go as high as how much space on your hard disk is free. hit ok and ok. you may have to restart your computer. it should work now. If that wasn't clear because its hard to explain in writing, go to the youtube video that shows you how here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2igH6O0ARM

i would recommend upgrading the ram as opposed to the virtual memory, because virtual memory is a lot slower than ram and also virtual memory is used when there's no more ram avalible. it should be used more as a last resort. try to get more ram. for more ram, your computer needs a specific type. go to crucial.com (in the sources) and do the scan there. it will tell you the ram you need, and you can buy it directly from them. Hope this helped. Check the sources. They'll increase your knowledge of this so it will help.

Why does my Magicka crash on start up?

I had the same problem yesterday too. But the fix is quite easy:

1. Go to: Computer -> Local Disc (X:) -> Program Files -> Steam -> SteamApps -> common -> Magicka -> Dependencies.
("X" is the hard drive you have steam installed in)

2. Launch "xnafx31_redist" and click either repair. If you haven't installed it, do it.

Then just wait until it finishes and try to launch the game, it worked instantly for me. Hope you have fun in Magicka with your friends! It's a pretty cool game.
