What first name would flow well with the middle name Frances?
For a girl? A friend of mine is having a girl in August and would like to have her middle name Frances, after her mother. But she's struggling with a good first name that flows well with it.

I think a one syllable middle like Charles goes best with a longer first name. Both Donovan Charles and Benjamin Charles sound lovely, they flow really well. I prefer Donovan Charles, because I think the style of the names contrasts better. Benjamin and Charles are very similar to me, both classics and about equal in popularity, whereas Donovan is much less common. Also, if they were nicknamed Ben and Donnie, I think Donnie Charles sounds nicer than Ben Charles, which is slightly abrupt. William Charles flows really well too, and I love William, but I do think they seem too similar in style. Regal names are wonderful, but together they might be a bit too much! I also really like the name Dean, but I think it would flow better with a longer middle.
