My Eclipse Mp3 Player Won

Why won't my Eclipse MP3 player turn on?

You didn't specify the exact model, but here are a few general suggestions:

1) Make sure the HOLD or LOCK switch is not turned on (the player might not charged when its locked- depends on the model).

2) Same goes if there's an OFF/ON switch (some models requires to turn it on using the ON switch AND long press on the "main" button on the player's panel).

3) Make sure it charged long enough (the big touch screens take about 2-3 hours to charge, the small screens or those with non are about an hour- check the manual ).

4) Reset - some models have a reset button, that sometimes looks like a small hole - and you need to use a pen or a paperclip to press the internal button.

Why wont my new Eclipse MP3 Player turn on? PLEASE HELP?

Okay, so my version is T180PL (?) I probably did that wrong, but all well. Anyways, It's like the smaller one with a touchscreen, and when I don't have it plugged in, IT WONT EVEN TURN ON. I know its on full battery because when I plug it into my computer with the USB it turns on, but it goes to this screen that has an APPLE charger on it. Like, WTF ? 1: It's not even an apple product... 2: NOWHERE ON THE CHARGER is it possible to fit ?! Okay, Anyways, I did actually get it to the menu screen by pressing the power and volume up button, but its not going to the menu anymore when I do that. PLEASEEEE help me. Cause I hate this stupid thing, I literally opened it up today.

My Eclipse MP3 Player won't Play Videos?

I searched on the website and my little book that came with my MP3 and it says it supports these files:
MP3, WMA (non encrypted), OGG, APE, FLAC, WAVE, AAC, AVI, WMV (non encrypted), FLV, RM, RMVB, 3GP, JPG, BMP, GIF, TIF, PNG, and TXT

I've tried doing MP4, WMV, and AVI but none of them work it keeps saying "Ivalid Video File"
I need help! How can i get it to work?

10 POINTS!!! Eclipse MP3 Player won't charge/ turn on?

It's an 8gb mp3 player with a screen. It's the worst music player ever.
The only way to charge it is to connect it to the computer using a USB 2.0 cable.
The thing is, the battery is dead (after trying to charge it and using up the battery), and I can only get it to charge if it can turn on so the computer can recognize it.
And I can't return it, since I don't have the receipt. (I bought it at Kmart, and it hasn't been 30 days, though... could I?)

Why won't my Eclipse CLD MP3 player play the songs I downloaded?

They are in a different player format. Check the file extension of the files you’re downloading. Also, from where are you downloading files? Are they encrypted and associated with a system like Spotify so they can’t be played elsewhere? Please provide a little info and will try to help.

My new Eclipse 180RD 4GB mp3 player is frozen on the logo screen?

hmmm. That's a bummer seeing as its christmas and all.

For starters, is the player fully charged? It might be you have no power left.

Also, did you try connecting it to a computer's USB port and see if the computer would be able to read it? If it does, you should see some kind of picture on the 180 showing that it is connected as well being able to access the player's internal memory from the computer. I recommend that if the computer can connect to the player, you press the M button while it is connected to see if the main menu comes up

If neither of those work, it might just be that there is a problem with the firmware or the hardware for the 180 and you will have to return it to get repaired or something like that.

Hope that helps :)

How do I transfer music to my Eclipse MP3 player from Windows Media Player?

Any external media connected to Windows, with a file system that windows can write on (FAT/NTFS), will show up in Windows Media Player under the Sync tab, as shown in the screenshot above (SUPERMAN is the thumb drive’s identifier). If your Eclipse media player’s file system can be directly accessed by Windows, it will also show up here. I would recommend creating a playlist that contains all the songs you want present in your player. Keep adding/removing to this playlist as you use your PC, and once in a while connect the device and sync that specific playlist to it (WMP will skip all already-present files, and also remove ones that are no longer in the playlist). To go fancier, you can set up auto-sync in WMP settings and assign that playlist to it, so that you don’t even need to press any buttons, just connect the device with WMP open. Click on Set up sync… and choose the playlist(s).
