Would you announce your pregnancy on facebook?
Call me conservative, but I happen to find announcing pregnancy on facebook tacky. Look it at this way, pregnancy/childbirth is one if not the most intimate and private experiences of a woman's life. (OctoMom not included) But seriously, facebook is a social networking site. Nothing more, nothing less. I think it's cool or okay to announce engagements maybe...or other milestones, but pregnancy? There's an air of attention-seeker and or bragger oar that comes from that. And besides, unless you have screened all your friends, who happen to actually BE FRIENDS or at least acquaintances at some level that you have met and at one time interacted with---why would you share that with everyone? Maybe I'm so discreet too because I have almost 2,000 "friends" and out of them, only 1-2 actually friends, excluding family. The other 1,998 are second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth tier associations that have merely added or requested me for some random, unknown reason. So, again I ask---what benefit or purpose would come from me announcing, "Guess what?! I'm Preggars!!" Of course I would get a gout of congratulations and other high salutes, but I'm also opening myself up to judgment, nosy questions and comments and just being an open-book. I'm bias to this as well, because there are "people" on facebook, that I know would or could use that kind of shared information for defamation and just the good old rumor mill. Finally, I think it strongly depends on your marital status. I happen to think if you're married, it is much more accepted. Whereas, the single mom would just look desperate for acknowledgment. And before this rant is accused of being too bias...I am currently 5 weeks pregnant. And have no intentions of sharing my future bump with a bunch of strangers. Maybe once they're born, I will post pictures...but I rarely update my own pictures. And oh, I happen to be VERY single but not quite ready to mingle. Ciao Baby!

If you don't know this man, how did he get your video? How do you even know he is in Morocco? He could be using a proxy with a Moroccan IP address. Also, if he does have this video, how do you know if you send him the money, he will not either ask for more at another time or post the video anyway? Unfortunately, you should have thought of the consequences before you posted a naked video. I hope you learned to never do anything like that again. "Private" videos and pictures tend to get leaked. Before posting ANYTHING, you need to think of what could happen if the information/photos were to get out into the public eye. I'm sorry to say that when it comes to the Internet, nothing is as private as you may like to think. You can attempt to contact the police because this is definitely blackmail, but I don't know if you want to do that since you want to keep this video private. Please read the article I referenced. Android Applications: Why does the Facebook app consume so much space in my Android phone?
Let me answer this question with some of my observations.The size of APK (Android application package file) as shown on play store is just 74MB.When you download it, it's size still remains same. But the moment when you install it on your phone, the compressed files in the APK decompresses. And you got to see this.(Note that I have not opened the app till now, I just installed it)(Note that the cache size is still too small.)This is, after logging in and using it for couple of minutes.The user data size boosts up from 41MB to 105MB.This is just after a day.In between all this I was visiting many profiles, pages and groups on Facebook. And just due to that cache size boosted from 3MB to 125MB.Now, you may think how app size is increasing just by using it. Facebook has designed its app so that whenever you open a webpage posted by a friend on the Facebook app, it will cache the entire page on your device. This is obviously a problem since the more pages you visit, the more space gradually gets eaten up. And this can be generalized to most of the social networking apps.This is the main reason for which you can even browse your friend's profile when you're offline, provided that you'd visited their profile once before that.
