Facebook won't load one friend's page? Blocked?
Okay, so, I hadn't heard much from one of my friends in a while, so I was going to check out her Facebook page (I don't use Fb much either) for funsies. I searched her and she came up, but when I clicked on her name, it was loading for half a second, then went straight to my newsfeed, I tried to go back, but it wouldn't let me and just reload my newsfeed. I figured there was something wrong with my search and went to my actual friends list. She was there, so I clicked on her page and it did the same thing as above. I tried other friends and it went straight to their page. I'm using facebook on the iPod app, if that helps. I haven't done anything to her, we drifted apart a little while ago, but maintained a civil relationship. Did she block me? What's going on? Thanks in advance!
My facebook won't load profiles?
I've had the same problem since this morning. No clue what's causing it. It seems to work a little on safari and not at all on chrome. But if you change http to https at the beginning of the web adress, it loads. It's just really annoying. It should work again soon though...I hope =/
Facebook not loading in chrome?
Just Go to: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData In The Chrome, to go to it, just copy "chrome://settings/clearBrowserData" without quotes in address bar and hit enter. Check "Empty the Cache" OR you may check all and Select "the beginning of the time". in Drop down menu Click Clear Browsing Data
Why won't Facebook checkpoint load?
On Tuesday, December 4th, I was redirected to facebook.com/checkpoint. When I was redirected to the checkpoint, the page would not load. I tried it on my mobile phone, another computer, Safari, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. None of them loaded the page, so I decided to reset my password, hoping that I could bypass the checkpoint, but I was unable to. I tried to send feedback, but I got an automated response saying Facebook no longer takes feedback. I tried calling Facebook's phone number, but Facebook doesn't offer phone support. I've tried to claim that my account might've been hacked, but after resetting my password it took me to the checkpoint again. I made a new account and the same thing happened to me. I have no idea what is going on. I was logged out of Facebook and it took me to the Facebook checkpoint which wouldn't load, just as my original account. Facebook loads perfectly fine, it's just the checkpoint page that won't load. Here's what it looks like: http://i.imgur.com/fcDXr.png
Can't get on Facebook website!?
I've seen it happen many times in the past to various people (myself included). It's usually a timeout while trying to connect the Facebook Servers (website). Sometimes Facebook may be trying to fix an internal issue, or their might be a sync issue with their servers. Glitches happen even to the biggest of sites. It's not an issue with your internet nor computer, because if you can get to other sites then it's a localized issue and not a connection issue. What you may want to look into if you're using a public computer (like at work, school, or a Library), is to see if they have Facebook blocked.
