Cannot receive Yahoo email on iPhone 6 with iOS8.2. Can send but not receive.?
As of 830am April 1, 2015, my iPhone 6 has stopped receiving emails for my Yahoo account. I can receive all my other accounts. I can also send from my Yahoo account. All emails are accessible through the internet. How can I fix this?
Invalid credentials in Yahoo Messenger?
Has anyone found a fix yet for Yahoo messenger and their supposed invalid credentials. Even though I can get my mail, use YM on my iPhone, etc. Just not YM for the past several days now. At first I was able to by deleting the preferences file, and sometimes reinstalling YM totally. Now none of that is working. Also deleted cache - still nothing. I'm getting REALLY annoyed with this.

Step 1: Go to your Account Settings Log into your mail account on mail.yahoo.com and go to "Account Info"(under your name at the very top left of the page next to the Yahoo logo) Step 2: Go to Asia! Scroll down to Account Settings and click "Set language, site, and time zone". Under "Regional Site and Language" change it to "Yahoo! Asia" and hit the save button Step 3: Options > More Options Go back to mail.yahoo.com and on the right are links for "Mobile, Options, Help"(under the search bar). Click on "Options" for the drop down menu, and click "More Options" Step 4: POP goes the weasel In the left menu click the link for "POP & Forwarding". Select the radio button for "Allow your Yahoo! Mail to be POPed" Step 5: Set up a POP mail account on your android device Incoming mail settings Protocol: POP Remember to set it as POP not IMAP! You probably tried to create an account a while back using the email address, but you just forgot about it.If the email is already associated with another account, it's obviously yours because you own the email… so just recover the account’s password.Try to login with your email address. You obviously don't remember/know the associated password, so click on the forgot password link, and follow the steps to recover or create a new password for the account.Instagram should send you some sort of verification email to that address to verify that it's your address.Check your email and follow the instructions in the email to recover your password.Once you've recovered or created a new password, simply log back into the account with the new password and VOILA! You're in.Once in, and you find out that it really isn't your account, but that some how, someone was able to create an account using your email address, you can just delete the account entirely, and/or first change the email address associated with the account (so you can create your own account using your email address), go and create a new account using your email address, and then delete the old account all together.Or, if you remember creating it and decide to continue using it, you can just do that.After you recover the account and can log in, what you decide to do is pretty much up to you at that point.But long story short, if the email address is used for another account and you really do own, have access, and manage the email account, then I would recover the account - Try to log in with the email address, click on forgot password, and follow the instructions to recover from there.Hope you found this answer useful/helpful.Cheers and Good Luck.BOOEY

In theory, yes. From a tape backup. That's reserved for critical, revenue damaging, issues.If it's been less than a week, possibly, with a bit of luck and a knowledgeable Customer Service rep.The chances though are almost nil.

Ok, this is strange. I have not received emails from dzhang lately. So I went to my Acct to check the Apps and Connection settings. Dzhang for contacts IS still there. I will leave it there for now since they are not pestering me. Knock on wood.
