I watched a movie about a child robot 2-3 years ago and I forgot it's name,does anyone know ? Only scene I remember is the ending: The robot lays down next to his human mother (I think),they both sleep and I think they die there.I don't remember much.

Why is The Robot movie's sequel's name 2.0 and not Robot 2.0? Is there any copyright issue?
I wondered about this myself and while there’s no official explanation from the filmmakers yet regarding the choice of name, I have my own theories.The most straightforward explanation is that the name 2.0 is a direct nod to the first Robot movie. In that movie, the antagonist is primarily an upgraded and yet malicious version of the protagonist robot Chitti and is nicknamed 2.0. There’s a song to that effect in the movie as well. Calling this 2.0 is a direct reference to the villain of that movie (whether or not the character Akshay Kumar is playing is that same villain is unknown at this point).But perhaps another reason why the name 2.0 is sheer genius is it’s global appeal. Not having any word such as Robot or Enthiran or anything else associated with the movie and simply calling it 2.0 means it can be referred to as such in all domestic and international markets and across all territories. Less re-branding effort, lesser confusion and slightly easier for the filmmakers to market creating a singular global brand name representative of the film. With the kind of humongous budget it’s being made at, targeting a global audience makes a lot of sense.

and there was a boy, his mom, a sheriff... the thing was really big and gentle and grey and i think it was a robot. it's old a cartoon movie, not anime though the mom worked at a diner and a guy that let him stay a junk yard. and let him eat the metal from there. and they all didn't know about the robot, then tryed to demantle it.
