Latin pronunciation help needed!!!?

In every country there is a conventional pronounciation, sicne nobody can certainty assert how a dead language sounds. Btw- here in Italy (one of the closest or even the closest language to Latin) we pronounce Latin like that:

Kwee meh UH-muht, UH-meht eht kUH-nehm MEH-oom (but the translation is:Who loves me, loves my dog too)

Stress the caps ^_^

Just remember:
A is like AmericA (I switched it in UH)
E is like nEver, mEtal ( I switched it in a EH)
I is like fEEl (I switched it in EE)

I need help with Dankeschön pronunciation?

Back in the 1960's, several pop singers recorded a song called "Danke Schön". But they pronounced the phrase in an American way; that is, badly. But for those who do not know German, it sounded pretty close. The popular 'wrong' way is as your friend says it: "DAHN-kuh shane". It is wrong, but "shane" rhymes with "pain" that way in the song.

The correct way is hard to express in text, but comes pretty close to:
"DAHN-kuh shern". The "ern" at the end is not really like "urn" or "earn" though. Instead you swallow the 'r' a bit.

To hear it correctly, listen to this:

Note that "schön" does NOT rhyme with "pain".

Need help with Japanese Pronunciation.?

You-Koo

Koh-dah-wah-ree

Foo-wah

Yah-kaye-goh-toh

Row

Tow-rah-boo-roo

EDIT

I see what the girl below me is trying to say. It depends where you're from in Japan on how they pronounce the R. You can say it like a common english R and they'll get what you mean.

I need a Czech pronunciation?

hezkii is close...

á => means a long pronuncation of the letter A as in "car" or "far" or "star"...

therefore "krás" could be pronounced as "grass" but replace the "g" with "k"

krás - pronounce as grass with "k" (krass)
ný - pronounced as the English word "knee"

please know, that " -ný" means that you're referring to a male gender...
***********************
květina

kv - is pronounced as "qu" as in "queen" or "quiz"
ě - is pronounced as "ye" in English (as in "yes" without the "s")
ti - "t" is pronounced softly...
na - is pronounced "nah" (or "nuh")

therefore "květina" would pronounce as something like this:
qu-ye-ti-nuh (or kv-ye-ti-nah)...

Do you know any latin? I need help with pronunciation.?

ihn nah'-mih'-neh Pah'-trihs eht Fih'li-i eht Spih'-rih-toos Sahnk'-tih

It should sound like a European language. Trill the r if you can. The vowels should be short, not made into 2 syllables. Say both of the i's separately at the end of filii. Accent the syllable where I wrote the '. The o in nomine is a cross beween ah and oh. Sort of like how a person from the midwest says the o in "coffee".

Say every consonant and vowel distinctly. Say both the s at the end of spiritus and the s at the beginning of sancti. Just a brief pause in the middle.

Bonam fortunam! (Good luck!)

The s is a very brief sound and in no way is it like z.

Need help with Japanese Pronunciation!?

Japanese is actually really easy to pronounce, there's only one pronunciation for each syllable so it's easy to pronounce once you know how each syllable sounds. Practice reading it, listen to Japanese and you'll eventually learn to pronounce it how native Japanese people say it. :)

- Kawaii - Ka - wai (why) - i (ee)
- Kowai - Ko (COal) - wai (why)
- Byôin * - Byou (beeyoh) - in (een) (say it like how it looks, not bee-yoh, but beeyoh, get it? haha Say it fast, not slow.)
- biyôin* - Bi (bee) you ("yoh" like in yolk) - in (een) ( for this one, you pronounce the BI (bee) part more clearly)
- Tomodachi - To (toe) - Mo (mow) - Da (dah) - Chi (chee)
- Tamagotchi - Ta (tah) Ma (mah) - Go (goh) tchi (chee)
- Ojisama - O (oh) - Ji (gee) - Sama (sahmah)
- ojîsama - O (oh) - Jii (Gee - make this sound longer, extend the 'i' sound) - Sama (sahmah)
- ôjisama - Ou (Ohh, again extend the sound) - Ji (gee) - Sama (sahmah)
- Itadakimasu - I (Ee, like the letter "E") - Ta (tah) - Da (Dah) - Ki (key) - Masu (mahss - don't pronounce the "u" ending)
- Ittekimasu - I (Ee, like "E") - short pause - tte (teh) - Ki (key) - Masu (mahss)
- Yume - Yu (you) - Me (meh, NOT mee)
- Yûmei - Yuu (you, extend "u" sound) - Mei (Meeh - extend "eh" sound)
- Okashi - O (oh) - Ka (kah) - Shi (shee)
- okashii - O (oh) - Ka (kah) - Shi (shee) - I (ee)

Hope this helps.
I'm sorry I can't make it any clearer, I'm not sure how I can put it to make it sound like how it's really meant to sound.
