What is your opinion Ayn Rand?
Good for you for breaking away from your teacher's opinions. My HS English teacher nearly 40 years ago said the same thing, and my first English teacher in college actually offended me by telling me I would "grow up and out of Rand's ideas". I never did; and I never went back into that teacher's class. But I think you misspoke when you said: "make a man believe being happy is selfish and you'll rule that man forever." Rand taught that being happy IS selfish: "The Objectivist ethics proudly advocates and upholds rational selfishness—" "To redeem both man and morality, it is the concept of “selfishness” that one has to redeem." http://aynrandlexicon.com/lexicon/selfis... .....and you can't rule a man by teaching him the truth.
