Google Chromebook and Google Play Store Apps.?

I got a Google Chromebook, and I can't figure out how to get apps from the Google Play store. Everytime I go to install an app, it says you have not accessed the Google Play store app yet. But, I can't install the app. Also, I keep trying to download music manager. But, when I try to download it, my computer says I need to find an app that will download the software? I am so confused. Please help.

Can I install iTunes on a Google Chromebook?

My laptop recently broke, and I am considering purchasing one of Google's Chromebooks. I mainly use my laptop for social networking, email, webcam chats, and music. All of my music is downloaded from/stored in iTunes, and I'd really prefer to not have to change that. So, I'd like to know if iTunes will run on a Chromebook.

Is there a CD drive compatible with the Google Chromebook?

Yes and no. In fact most USB CD or DVD drives will work immediately if plugged in. I’ve used this fifteen pound one from Amazon with my Acer R13.There is however a catch. ChromeOS doesn’t have the correct codecs in it to play audio CDs or video DVDs. If the music is on that CD as data - an MP3 you’re good to go. If it’s a traditional audio only CD you’re going to be out of luck.

How can i download mods on my google chromebook?

What website are you downloading the mods from? If it does that, it means either:

1) Someone has put a block on it
2) You have some software on it that blocks it
3) It's an unsafe source - I'd lean towards this argument

Disable any ad-blocks or anti-viruses you may have if you REALLY need it. Make sure there's no filter on your network, and maybe consider using a Torrent Client e.g. uTorrent or Transmission. I'm sure the mod has a Torrent option.

Also, I assume you know how a Chromebook operates(You can't use it without an internet connection). If it's an app that you run, you can't do it. AFAIK you can only run apps Google trust.

Also, you can get banned from Xbox if you use cheats I think. Just a heads up.

If this REALLY doesn't work, then it's because of the Chromebook. Owning a Chromebook I would assume you know how to install another OS at least. So:

1) Find an old computer or a computer that isn't in use
2) Put a Linux distribution of your choice on it
3) Download the mod on that
4) Do whatever you do to install an Xbox mod.

Hope this helps!

How can I install Google's Noto fonts on a Chromebook?

I just installed a new font on my Chromebook using the below, simple, safe method. I am assuming you want to use this font for use with an offline program. I opened my font in Scribd (a graphic design program downloaded as a Linux program to my Chromebook).I am not a programmer so other non-programmers can probably handle this, too!Steps that are the same for any operating systemLocate your font file online. For a Google font, go to Google Fonts and search for Noto. There are multiple different Noto fonts, so pick the one you want. I’m picking Noto Serif SC: Google FontsClick “Select this Font”Open the pop-up that appearsSelect “Customize” and select all the options you want - italic, bold, black, light, etcFind the Download icon in the corner of the popup window, and click itSave your file in Downloads.Steps that are unique to a ChromebookMake sure your Chrombook is Linux-compatible, and enable Linux apps if you haven’t done so. You only need to do this once. See detailed instructions here: How to install Linux apps on your ChromebookYou should now have a “Linux Files” section in your Files app. Open the file viewer. In the menu (three dots) select “Show Hidden Files.” New folders will appear.Open the Linux file section, and right click. Select “Add a new folder.” Name this folder “.fonts” (with a period in front, without the quotation marks).Open the Downloads section, and double click on the font zip folder you just downloaded.Select any and all files in here. Copy them. Clarification: If there is another folder inside the .zip folder, open that one too, until you see actual files. The files should end in .ttf or .otf. Copy the files, not the folder.Paste the files into the new .fonts folder you created in the Linux files section. You can now re-hide hidden folders if you want to.Open the Linux Terminal app. Type “fc-cache” then hit Enter. (No quotation marks, no spaces, do include the dash). This tells the computer to check for new fonts in various folders, including the folder you just made. It won’t look like anything happened. If you want, you can instead type “fc-cache -v” in which case you will get a bunch of text thrown at you showing what was done.Close the TerminalOpen your design/editing programLook in the fonts list for your new font.Let me know how it goes :-)

How do I put iTunes on Chromebook?

You can’t. There isn’t an android application for iTunes, so you can’t get it with ARC. Another way to get it is with the Chrome Web Store … Not there either. The only other possible way to do this is to install Linux on your Chromebook, and to download iTunes for Linux.

Is there anyway i can download imvu onto my google chromebook?

The game you're looking at is only compatible with Windows and Mac I believe. The game does not support Chrome OS nor do I think it's ever going to be.

So for your situation, you simply can't play the game on your Chromebook. And there are no apps for IMVU game.
