Does anyone have four cats in two-bedroom apartment? Three cats in a household?
Hi... Well I have (4) and live in a studio apartment. (and No, I am NOT crazy :)) A found my "Bradley" abandoned and flea infested in a parking lot. (1st experience w/a kitten) I fell in love with him, my lil buddy. I started feeding other stray cats/kittens in the same location. One of them became pregnat... I began to feed her more, allowed her in my car to warm her up on cold days. I would have to coax her into my car, well for a couple of days I did not see her, so I figured she'd gone off and had her babies, but she showed up, I feed her, gave her some heat, had her in my car about 15 mins, when ready to go I hear a strange sound... She'd started having her kittens on the passenger floor of my car. She had (5). My Bradley was about ( 8 months old now, he was only a few weeks old when I picked him up). I was able to find homes for (4) of the kittens, that left me with my cat, & now the Mom and (1) of the kittens... About a month ago I got one of the kittens back...( Baby sat it, did not like the way he looked and did not give him back) So now I have four. Even in my little domain, I do not find it too much having them. They all get along so well! And my Bradley is the best, he never gave me attitude from having the new ones, he was very curius of the baby kittens, he helped the Mom out a lot with the little ones and showed the little ones all the "bad' things and then some. :) When I had the (3) it was fine... When asked to babysit the (4th) and deciding to keep him, it was not that much difference with the 4 than the 3. I have (3) males and ( 1) female. The female is very independent, no nonsense, and the boys are the ones who like to play tag and romp and run. So it looks to me like you have more than enough room for FOUR... Sorry for such a long story... When I come in from work and all of them is at the door, I look down at them and wonder how did I get here, and than I look at the female cat (Monk-Monk) and say "Oh yeah, you adopted me" ! Lion breeding...female cubs and their mates...?
A lion pride consists of a group of related females - anything from two and thirty - and between one and eight males (two to four is most common), who are often, but not always, related to each other (though not related to the females). If a young male has no brothers, half-brothers or cousins of his own age, he will often join forces with another lone male who has also left his birth pride, since two or more males have more chance of winning a pride.
Do male cats mate with their own young?
I have two cats, one male, one female. Of course they mated and had kittens. Its was weird when the queen had them because the tom cat was very much involved with the babies. Playing with them, protecting them, making sure they ate and no one hurt them or touched them in fact. well its been three months almost four and he is still a very good father to the kittens but last night my partner and I saw the tom cat (father) trying to mate with its young. The litter only has one female cat and the father was trying to mate with her...is that normal for cats to do that? If you have links that would be great to read so that I can show my girlfriend as well. Thanks
Will you get pregnant by having four play?
There is a chance. If you both are naked, it is possible semen could enter the vagina, and it has happened. Or if you touch semen and touch your vagina. But for the most part, no.
My female cat is pregnant by her brother What are the dangers in this? What should I do?
Trouble is you wont know until the kittens are born. There is a chance they could be born with defects...or they could be healthy, you just cant tell I personally would go through with the pregnancy BUT GET THE MALE NEUTERED NOW and then get the female done when the kittens have stopped feeding from her at 8wks
