Pc Games Graphics Help

Whats the Best graphics game for PC?

I bought a new computer and want a great game to play, its got dual core and nvidia 8800's for cards, i want to use all i can for some crazy gaming! help me find a great game!!!

Do you need a graphics card for pc games.?

Yes, all computers need some form of a graphics card. Laptops usually come with a lower end Graphics card that can play most game today on about medium quality settings, or a chipset which will allow you to play game from a couple years ago on low - medium settings.

Desktops however always come with a Graphics card today, dating back for quite some time. Desktops usually have a decent card for its time, and some come with better ones (At the cost of a higher pricetag).

So, if you have a laptop check and see what Graphics Card you have in Device Manager. It should be a 8800GT or higher at minimum, and even that won't play some of today's games. If it is a chipset, then I am sorry there is nothing you can do. Thing about laptops is usually what it comes with you have to keep.

If you have a desktop, look in Device Manager and see if it is at least a 9600GT. If it isn't then you need to upgrade. A 9800 GT and better is your best bet. Look on Nvidia's site or Amazon for a Nvidia (They are usually better than ATI, everyone has a opinion but Nvidia has won more awards, sells more, and most computer come pre install with Nvidia for a reason). Make sure to read the reviews before you buy on Amazon.

Make sure it has 1 GB of Memory (Or ram).

Last thing, Your Memory/Ram. It is usually inexpensive compared to other computer parts but is the most crucial thing next to the Processing unit.

You will need to go to http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/ and let them scan your computer. It will tell you your system, how much ram you have, where it is installed (Depending on you computer their can be 2-8 slots available) how much more you can hold, and which ram type it is.

Which point you can either order from them (they are some of the best in the business) and know you are getting a good namebrand product, or you can go to Amazon or Newegg.com and look up your ram type and order it, usually it is a little cheaper from one of those places. Just remember to read the reviews about the seller, so many people want scam these days.

Installing Ram is quite easy, their are many guides online, just google how to install ram (and then Desktop or Laptop which ever you have).

Well, their you have it. Sorry for the long answer, just wanted to help you the best I could.

What pc games can intel hd graphics family run?

Honestly, that computer won't run much, if anything, modern. Look to older games that outlived their graphics, such as Diablo II or Dungeon Siege.

Try the site below to test your system on pretty much any game to see if it will run. The site does require the installation of an ActiveX control.

Graphics help with Silent Hill 3 for the PC?

Here is the #1 problem why Silent Hill 3 will not work with your PC:

The minimum requirement for the game is a 32MB GeForce3 Ti or Radeon 8500 Class Video Card. Your graphic chipset isn't a card. It's a chip, therefore, it has to "borrow" memory from your PC's ram to do most operations. So it doesn't matter if your graphics memory is 8, or 251, it will always have a problem with the fact that it's not a video card.

From what I've checked, the Intel 965 IS capable for running some good 3d operations for 5 year old games, though. Silent Hill 3 came out Dec 2003. Intel writes code for games to work that don't normally use chipsets. Check the link below for compatible games, but note that many of these games that came out years ago run choppy and slow, with the least amount of resolution possible for them.

Run the test from "Your Gamers" in the link I provided below to test your system and see if it will run.

I have also found that some codec packs, such as K-Lite Codecpack, may cause issues with SH3. Look for it. If you have it, remove it and try it again. On the other hand, having the wrong codecs will cause problems. Download codec packs and attempt to find which one is right for you. Check the link to the forum below.

Good luck

Can you play modern PC games with Intel UHD 620 Graphics with an 8th Gen i7 processor?

Intel intergrated graphics are UNACCEPTABLE for most modern PC games. You may be able to play basic & casual 2D games without performance issues. However, anything that has 3D graphics will likely struggle on the system.

You will need to have a graphics card (like a Nvidia GTX 1050 or better OR an AMD Radeon RX 560 or better) in order to the modern PC games to work at a reasonable framerate.
