Poll What Is A Good Headset Microphone For Pc

Can someone help me with my Frisby FMC-220 Microphone?

Sometimes Windows will install the wrong driver for your peripheral, as long as it works don't worry about that. There is a setting in Control Panel that allows you to adjust the sensitivity of your microphone.

Go to Control Panel -> Hardware and Sond -> Sound -> Recording. Select your microphone and press 'Properties'. You can adjust your microphone settings here.

What kind of microphone does pink use?

It looks like she uses a Shure PGX2/SM86 with SM86 Cardioid Microphone. And the only effect she uses while singing live is reverb. It's evident, especially in her acoustic and small venue performances, that she doesn't need any kind of special effects for her voice. It's all natural.

What's the best gaming headset and mouse?

I'm getting a new headset (for my birthday) and a new mouse (for Christmas), but i really don't know what to choose.

Mouse: There were 2 specific mice that i wanted, but i only need 1. The Logitech G502 Proteus Core and the Corsair Vengeance M95. I really like these ones, but i don't know what to choose. As usual, they got pros and cons. My hands are between big and small, so what's the better choice?

Headset: I was originally going for the Astro A50, but a lot of people said "Get the Steelseries H, it's way better", and yeah, i like that one too, but i still want to try the A50. I need one that plays games, music and movies, is comfortable, and works with both my PC and my PS3.

I know it's up to me to decide the winner, but it's a tough choice (like "What's better? FFVII or Chrono Trigger?" or "What's better? Thrash Metal or Power Metal?". So yeah, please tell me what's the best choice.

Thrustmaster Y-250x headset help?

I have gone to multiple websites, Youtube videos and even friends to try and resolve my dilemma. I just recently bought a "Thrustmaster Y-250x" headset, and i am having difficulty connecting it to my computer. All of the videos on Youtube are useless as they do not show how to set it up. I have even looked at other brands of headsets, and they all follow the same procedure to setting it up. Plug in the USB>connect the audio cable into the headphone jack>go to start menu, and access the sound options of the control panel.

All of the headsets were "recognized" by the computer and the microphone and headphones could be set to "default" for primary use over the stock speakers and mic (if available). When I follow the procedures, (USB, input jack, etc.) it does not show up in my setting under "playback" OR "recording". I tried plugging the input jack into the mic port, and microphone does work, but i can only hear it within my headset. I have done numerous tests in my games, as well as mic tests in the control panel but nothing seems to work. I just bought the headset today, and i am in love with it, but i cant fully enjoy it until the mic works.

Thanks for your time and message me back if you have a possible solution!

P.S. Sorry if I may sound redundant and confusing.

What are the 5 things gamers don't actually need for their gaming PC?

Terribly expensive and powerful graphics cards. I’m talking about GTX 1080 and similar. Unless people buying these play on 1440p or 4K, they’re overkill for current generation.Processors that have more than 4 threads. Most games that are avaliable today can fully utilize only 4 threads at best. This issue is slightly alleviated with new APIs such as DX12 and Vulkan, because these can actually fully utilize all threads (as far as I know, but it probably won’t utilize your AMD Opteron’s 24 cores, right), while the other (DX11 and lower, OpenGL?) can utilize only the thread number 0.All the neon and gaming stuff. Keyboards with backlight - okay, that’s good for doing all kinds of stuff if you don’t want to/you’re too lazy to turn on your lights. I own one, and I like it. GPU, CPU coolers, fans, cases, motherboards with backlights? No. You build a computer, not a Christmas tree for a mall.Gaming keyboards, mouses and other stuff. Most of it is overdesigned and overly expensive stuff, sometimes it comes with a sticker of a professional CS:GO/LoL/DOTA team I don’t, honestly, give a damn about. What I’d like more, are some basic consumer-grade mechanical keyboards. “Gaming” hardware is literally the same as regular, just with better heatsinks (which will help in games) or some design change.I own a backlighted “gaming” graphics card and I hardly notice the light is on.Fancy cases with windows. If I wanted to stare at my computer, I can just take off the side lid. My tables and cables won’t allow me to stare at my computer without plugging it out and pulling it from the table, anyway.Liquid cooling. Never get it unless you’re going to do some serious overclocking. And air is sufficient for total majority of the GPUs (minority being power hogs like Fury and GTX x80 cards).

Rosewill RHTS-8206 Mic Problems?

check the Mic muted either on the computer or on the inline control if the headset has one.
you may want to try disconnecting and reconnecting the Mic from the headset to see if it helps you.
if you have another Mic with a 3.5mm stereo jack connector, try connecting that into the Mic jack on the headset. this will let you know if its an issue with the Mic itself or the headset. if none of suggestions help, get it replaced.
