Possible Cancer Or Hernia Or Acid Reflux

Acid Reflux & Stomach Cancer?

I answered a question with similar thoughts like yours. So, I'll tell you what I told her. She too was a young girl only her concern was for her mom. Acid reflux has been known to cause cancer. Cancer of the stomach or esophagus. However, I've had this since my 20's. I have bleeding ulcers as well. I'm on medications that prevent excessive reproduction of stomach acids. I've had many, many tests. Vit K deficiency would happen with a bleed. Vit K is a clotting vitamin and if not enough in your body, then bleeding can be a problem. Don't believe everything you read on medical sites. Your best place to get answers you need in your case is directly from your doctor. He/she knows you, Knows how your stomach work. The internet can only give you a broad range of common causes of and some not so common of acid reflux.. You then scare yourself and think the worst. Only the worst case scenario will you see acid reflux causing stomach cancer. If you're treated with the proper medications and do not eat any spicy foods, well you know, you should do alright. I strongly suggest you speak with your Dr. OK I know how you fell. You will be OK

Can my hernia be causing my reflux?

Hernia is caused due to low energy for the heart, lack of pumping power by heart (low blood displacement in each heart beat) causes hernia and reflux.Hernia does not cause reflux.Hernia and reflux both are caused by low metabolic rate. Other diseases caused due to low metabolic rate are diabetes and BP and heart diseases. If it wasn’t bad enough that acid reflux and GERD had links to things like cancer now studies are showing some of the medications themselves increase the chances of getting cancer. Great.Especially when you consider roughly 20% of the US is dealing with GERD to at least some extent. But it’s not like the medication was doing a bang up job anyway. Between lazy diagnosis and the vast majority of medications just masking the symptoms rather than doing anything about the root cause it’s not like I was a fan. A life long list of medications with limited use which also include their own side effects.Great.The alternative is actually to deal with the root of the problem and there are clinically proven ways of doing this. But then we’d have to stop giving all our money to the drug companies who profit more from us being stuck on their pills for life. Can a Hiatal Hernia turn into cancer?

Hi I found out I had a hiatal hernia about 6 years ago. I have always had problems with it like waking up in the middle of the night choking and really bad heartburn. For the past couple of weeks I have not been able to eat anything due to the horriable check pain I get as soon as I swallow food. It is the worst pain EVER and soon after my back will start hurting. Sometimes I dont even have to eat in order to get the chest pain. Could this be something serious like a tumor or something? Any advise or anyone that has experienced this would be very helpful!

Heartburn is a mild to severe pain in the chest. Itusually occurs after eating a meal. It can be a burning or tighteningsensation. This muscle is in charge of closing youresophagus after food passes to the stomach. If this muscle is weak or doesnt closeproperly, the acid from your stomach can move backward into your esophagus. This is known as acid reflux. The lining of your esophagus is more delicate than the lining of yourstomach. Therefore, acid in your esophagus causes a burning sensation in yourchest. This sensation is known as heartburn. The acid can also cause a change in the cells in the esophagus overtime. How can smoking cause acid reflux disease?

In short: YesHow ? When you smoke, nicotine is released into your circulation. This causes relaxation of the lower esophageal sphincter. This sphincter is usually present as the junction of your esopaghagus (foodpipe) and stomach. This normally prevents reflux of stomach contents (i. e. acid) into esophagus. In normal states, it is taut, but under effect of smoking it gets relaxed. Thus reflux occurs easily….Just to add to this…If it wasn’t bad enough that acid reflux and GERD had links to things like cancer now studies are showing some of the medications themselves increase the chances of getting cancer.
