How to fix modem ERROR 561 ?
i got this new laptop which run by windows 7 ... i tired to connect it to a modem but this stupid Error 561 keeps appearing .... i found suggestions sayin i should change a system file called "raspppoe.sys" to a vista format one ... i tried doing it but ... the original rasppoe.sys wont delete cause it needs a Trustedinstaller permission ??? ... clearly i neeeed HELP !!!
Modem Error 651 ??????
Hi, I have a desktop computer with internet through a modem. I just got an emachines netbook. I unplugged the cord from the back of my desktop tower and plugged it into my netbook. I tried to connect the internet and it had a message that said Modem Error 651. What does this mean and how can a fix it? Also, on other websites I read that you can fix it by changing a file name. I would rather not do this, is there an alternative method? Thanks

I get error 797 modem not found.?
That nearly feels like a foul modem. If there aren't any drivers in device supervisor that would point out that the hardware cannot be obvious. Nonetheless, are trying rebooting into nontoxic mode and looking for the modem in there. If you don't see it then i would try swapping out with a alternative modem. If it is in there i might delete it and reboot into usual mode to look if it re installs Modems are susceptible to failure as a result of them being touchy to the flux of electricity.
Error 797 -- modem not found?! A dialup connection problem.?
This is not a problem with my computer, but a problem with a computer of my supervisor at work. Her computer was working fine, until one day, when her computer suddenly proclaimed an error 797, which, according to the error description, was due to the 'modem being busy or not found'. She does not know what caused this, and whenever she tries to connect (she has a dial-up connection), the modem does not try to dial -- it immediately throws that error. Looking at her computer, I noted that her modem did not appear in the Device Manager, and also that something called a 'PCI Communications Controller' had a question mark beside it -- indicative of an error with the associated drive. We have tried to reinstall the modem (with the Creative CD that she had), but the reinstallation does not seem to have work. We were wondering if anyone had any other suggestions, because she is desperately in need of checking her e-mail. Thanks. =)
Problem connecting to the internet error 651?
I am trying to connect to my service provider after re-formatting the hard disk. I have done this in the past but i cant remember how i done it last time. Computrer has 3ghz processor Windows XP home and plenty of memory and graphics card spec ok. I am trying to connect through a ISDN line external modem through a USB 2 port on the actual computer. I have rang provider and seems passwords and phone line ok, i installed ISDN software like manual states and done a loop back test works ok cahnnel b1 & b2 work on utility software and device that has USB connection plugged into computer. I am not sure but what lights should be light up on other device that has direct connection to phone line no lights light up on b1 and b2. I haven't changed any of the cables since re-formatting. Does anyone know this problem and how to fix this problem please help as its driving me crazy!

Whak it with a cane and it should start working. If it dosen't, shoot it up with an AK47. If it still dosen't, blow it up with C4. If it STILL dosen't, drop a atomic bomb on it. If it STILL dosen't work, report me for spamming. If it STILL dosen't work, sorry, cant help you.
How do I fix internet connection issues on Steam?
