Russell Westbrook Vs Stephan Curry

Stephen Curry or Russell Westbrook?

-.Russell Westbrook = he's a better and more complete player, but has proved somewhat inconsistent during the series against the Mavs.

-.Stephen Curry = is one of the best shooters in the league and, somehow, been able to maintain the same level during his young career. I don't know if he can become a franchise player, but he's a very good player.

In the end, Stephen Curry is my answer.

Nba russell westbrook or stephen curry?

Curry is the much better player overall.

Steph curry vs Russell Westbrook 1v1. Who wins?

Interesting question, I'd go with Russel Westbrook because of his incredible speed compared to Curry's. He has good ball handling & get in the paint quicker than Curry. I dont know much but I'm going with Westbrook (the true mvp)

Who's better Russel Westbrook or Stephan Curry?

Russel Westbrook is better than Stephan Curry

Would you rather have Russell Westbrook with Stephen Curry's three point ability, or Stephen Curry with Russell Westbrook's athleticism?

I’d pick a more athletic Steph Curry over a better shooting Russell Westbrook.Offensively, if Westbrook had Curry’s shot, they’d obviously be peers at shooting. But I think Curry’s ballhandling (less turnovers), finishing around the rim (higher FG% within 3 feet), and passing (see video below) are already similar or better than Westbrook’s, and with Westbrook’s athleticism, Curry would be better, especially with improved skills like offensive rebounding. My vote: Curry.Defensively, Curry and Westbrook actually have similar statistics, even though Curry often doesn’t get much credit on that end of the court (even by Westbook himself, see Russell Westbrook Shouldn't Be Laughing At Stephen Curry's Defense). But I think Curry is a smarter defender, and with Westbrook’s athleticism, Curry would be better, upping his steals, blocks, and rebounds. My vote: Curry. As far as intangibles (that aren’t affected by shooting or athleticism), Westbrook gives 110% all the time — he almost just won a third consecutive All-Star MVP. But I think Curry has demonstrated that he’s a better team player (taking a back seat to Durant to make him feel comfortable, see Why Steph Curry and Kevin Durant haven't clicked -- yet) and a better leader. My vote: Curry.

Russell Westbrook vs Stephen Curry vs James Harden?

Steph Curry is who I'd want. His ability to threaten 40 foot 3 pointers off of a high pick and role is an offense unto itself, and his passing, handles, and finishing all do wonders for taking advantage of it. Plus, his defense, while not great overall, is severely underrated. He can't guard many people 1 on 1, but he plays great, system defense and knows where to be. Only knock is that a little bit of sweat on the gym floor derailed his entire playoffs, but I'm not going to hold what appears to have been a freak injury rather than a recurring one against him too much.

Russell Westbrook is second, but I can see why someone might put him first. In terms of ability, this guy can do it all. He can score, run an offense, has the tools to defend multiple positions at an elite level, and can even rebound like a forward. The issue is he's kind of an idiot. His scoring ability is great, but his shot selection is dreadful, resulting in overall very mediocre scoring efficiency, he turns the ball over, and don't even get me started on his inconsistency on defense. If he played like he did in the playoffs against the Spurs and the first 4 games against the Warriors all the time, I'd be willing to call him not just the best point guard, the best player in the world, but he mixes in moments like games 5-7.

Chris Paul deserves to be in this conversation, because overall, he's the most well rounded player in the league not named Lebron James. If it weren't for his nasty habit of getting hurt on the playoffs, I'd have him #1, but it's hard to ignore.

James Harden comes in 4th, not because of anything he's doing now, he's my current pick for MVP, but because he's never, not once, impressed me when it matters in the playoffs, quite the opposite in fact. Whether he's sitting during his team making an amazing 4th quarter comeback against the Clippers, or setting the record for most turnovers in a playoff game, his game just does not translate to post season success
