Why is this country so divided by Race and Religion?
I agree with you on everything, as we have the same problems in the UK. You are not allowed to open your mouth, about any of the thousands of Immigrants that have poured in to our Country, and as we have no work...all our Industries have gone abroad... they arrive and go straight onto our generous benefits, get houses free of Rent...etc. We are a very small Island, and have always been called "the green green grass of England " but we are going to lose that very shortly because Housing is covering our green spaces, and even spreading onto our famous Yorkshire Moors. We will become a Land of buildings, without a blade of grass to be seen, !! I pity any future generations because they will not know what beauty we had to look at, because it will be no more at the rate of that this devastation which is taking place. The powers that be will have a lot to answer for when they have completed their destruction of this once beautiful Country.
Can we ever unite all races and religions to live in peace or will there always be conflicts?
There will always be conflicts, and that’s great, because conflict is the only place where unity can grow from, and where our diversity can be used for progress.All violence (passive-aggressive, verbal or physical), is caused by the fear of conflict and people avoiding their conflicts for way too long. When people start to shun certain issues of conflict, they will distance themselves from the people who they have conflicts with. This increased distance is emotionally at first, causing people to raise their voices.When conflicts continue to be avoided for a long time, people start developing a self-identity that is solely based on their differences with the people they want to distance themselves from. This limited sense of self, that does not recognise the parts of ourselves that we have in common with everyone (which is much greater than our differences) causes inner conflict with the shadows of the parts of our psyche that we are suppressing. Those inner conflicts then make us even less tolerant of others, since we’d rather pretend that what feels wrong is only caused by others.We will need to stop walking away from our conflicts (which also means to stop distracting ourselves with other people’s conflicts that are not our business), turn around, face where we’re coming from and start embracing our inner and outer conflicts and contradictions in ourselves, our families, our workplace and our neighbourhoods.Will it be easy? Hell no. Can everybody do this? Probably not completely on their own, but I’m sure we can pull it off with some support from each other. Some of the most encouraging examples are Nonviolent Peaceforce‘s international unarmed civilian peacekeeping that prevents people from getting harmed or killed in some of the most violent parts of the world, and Dominic Barter’s Restorative Circles process which has been very successful in reducing the lethal violence in the fevelas of Rio de Janeiro and is being implemented all over the world by progressive solution-seeking people right now.
If the human race could unite in peace and harmony and form a united planet Earth, which city do you think should be the capital?
Many questions and considerations to consider about the placement.If this is going to be a giant metropolis, then it’s going to have to have good trade access (excludes picking some random geographic central spot in the middle of the asian steppes), no inversion for pollution (excludes many existing large cities, no one would opt for a capital environment like mumbai or shanghai), access to freshwater, transport geography, climate, etc.Do we use an existing city?If we were to pick a significant existing city with either some historical relevance or current economic value, a few existing cities probably fit the bill:-Paris-London-The Hague-Istanbul (not constantinople)-Dubai-Jeddah/Mecca-Kuala Lumpur-Hong KongThese would all be fine logical candidates, but you would never get anyone to agree on one, even the city of the worlds desire is only the city of europes desire.Then we make a new city!We pick locations that merely have geographical importance and ignore historical and cultural value. Somewhere near a large river basin, port or trade route, with room to expand and the local resources required. Just to spitball:Sinai Peninsula. If you were to come up with a geographic mean for the worlds trade this would almost certainly come out first. Plenty of flat unoccupied desert to start fresh on, probably a bit hot mind.Gujarat or Indus River. Even out the wealth and the centre would probably move closer to the human mean in south asia, an ideal spot could be found there.Istanbul. Because, why would anyone pick something else.So the answer is that it could be in a whole bunch of places, some of these are not Istanbul.
Why do SOME Black people degrade themselves ,and there race by participating in this whole...?
....Gangsta Rap thing??? A lot of Blacks are involved in this whole thing(and yes whites too)I am just wondering if these Black people realize that dressing like they do,mumbling like they do when they talk,portraying this whole G rap image,makes them and there race look horrible??..It sets them way..back and people like M L K Jr would be rolling in there graves to see this whole thing. Do these Black people think about any of this? and what is with there involvement in this whole thing? Is it just a fad? or is it a way of life they aspire too? i am just curious as in my neigbourhood it seems almost all of the Black people are right in to this whole G rap thing..Do they realize how horrible and simple it makes them look? Any opinions on all of this? And before all of you jump on me calling me racist,which i am not! I simply am wondering why in the world anyone would want to emulate this whole G rap thing?.. especially black people who have fought so hard for equal rights.

Because you never get a clean slate. You have to deal with the world as it already is. In that world, people have vested interests, aspirations and grievances; there are serious economic and logistical problems in providing work,food, shelter, and medical care to half of the world.Then there are existing political divides; tribal, ethnic and religious conflicts, some that have been going on for centuries. Half the world is governed by kleptocratic crime syndicates, and the rulers of some theocratic states act as if the last thousand years of human progress never happened.What you are asking for is a world without greed, exploitation, and inequality. A world where every country has access to the same natural resources, and is adequately defended against invasion from outside, and tyranny from within. In short, a world that has never existed.The difficulty is that although we have a collective yearning for peace, if you try to save the world, you will be spread too thin to be of any help to anybody. Any individual can only do so much, and the only revolution that works is the one that takes place inside you.You can't save the world, but you can save yourself. Just be kind to the people around you, and in your everyday encounters be the sort of friendly, helpful, cheerful person you would like to meet. Unlike world peace, this is relatively easy to achieve, and measurably makes the world a better place.
Why can't a world live in peace and friendly manners?
Two reasons:Lack of communication. After human developed vocal languages, people could communicate sufficiently within a band or tribe. A band/tribe was a basic war unit with mostly peace inside but wars between bands/tribes. As written language developed, reliable communication can be done over a longer distance. Larger and larger war units were then developed as city states and countries. Peace usually existed within the state/country and war often occurred between them. However, when the country became too large, lack of communication could happen between different regions or different level of hierarchies (e.g. a bad king and common people) and cause a war. Later, newspaper provided voices for common people, as a result, communication between different hierarchies were much improved and democracy replaced monarchy systems with even more peace within a country/war unit. In 20th century, communication was further improved by telegraph and telephone, countries formed alliances as bigger war units and two world wars broke. Currently, modern communication can cover most of the world, but certain regions are still lack of modern communication and wars still occur (mostly in Africa?).Loyalty and Patriotism. Throughout the human history, war has been so important to the survival of war units. War time behaviors such as loyalty and patriotism became a necessity and a highly praised behavior in all culture/societies. (With hundreds of thousand years of human evolution, this cultural behavior may even get into human DNA as hardwired.) Strong loyalty and patriotism prevent reasoning and negotiation, as a result, block effective communication. The current modern world has the technologies (especially with internet) to cover worldwide communication, but the loyalty and patriotism culture keep dictators in power and keep common people divided with reasons of race, history, religion, political system and etc.

The troubles and chaos we are witnessing today, though with more global effects, and more widely reported, are relatively meager compared to the rape and rampage, conquests and cruelties engaged by many groups in former centuries.2. Will eventually come together in a spirit of cooperation and brotherhood, as one people?They have come together in many contexts: the UNO, UNESO, WHO, ILO, WTO, Parliament of World Religions, Médecins sand frontières, countless Interfaith groups in many parts of the world. They are not perfect, but they are steps in the right direction.3. Will continue warring among itself until extinction by natural disaster?Yes, many subgroups of humanity will continue warning among themselves, until religious fanaticism is extinguished, social justice becomes global, and economic equality becomes universal. Many will also be making every effort to terminate, avert, and fight against wars.Major natural disasters affecting hundreds of thousands of people has been part of terrestrial physical conditions since time immemorial. One of them (an asteroid) is believed to have destroyed dinosaurs, leading to the emergence of humanoids.With all that, one can NEVER be sure of humanity’s future.In the meanwhile let us work together and pray/wish for more peace and harmony in the world.27 Oct 2017
Humanity unites to defeat an alien invasion. How long does global peace last once the threat is dealt with?
Peace is an arbitrary and plastic concept that comes and goes due to the self interests of the leaders and populations of nations across the globe. Sometimes peace is so unsubstantial that it evaporates almost immediately after it has been declared.However, the attack by any extra-terrestrial force would force the leaders of every nation on Earth to react far more altruistically. Mainly out of self interest and survivability. Such a singular attack would definitely alert all the members of the human race that “we are no longer alone.” For such an attack by any alien force would instantly make the entire human race aware of its’ actual vulnerability from outer space. No one on Earth would ever feel completely safe again.If the human race survived to remain in control of our planet, we would never naively view this planet as insular from external threat again. So there most likely would be established a criteria for permanent planetary protection. Which would promulgate strong levels of international cooperation.There very likely would still be disagreements among various human populations that might escalate to limited conflicts that would require intervention and moderation. This is already happening to a limited degree by the UN and certain bi-lateral alliances.For if one attack could occur from one alien species, then the probability of another rises to a far more likely level.The next time we would be united and much better prepared…if possible.

Racial segregation has been reintroduced in America, especially in the former slaver states, only this time on the downlow rather than by explicit laws, thus giving the white supremacists who engineered it “plausible deniability.”See the book “The New Jim Crow” for how this has been accomplished.
