No, you should not go to work today. In fact you should not return to work until your fever has been gone for 24 hours. This is the rule of thumb for sick kids, which I have three. If your fever persists I would recommend seeing a doctor as you could have a virus or an infection. Taking Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin (Advil, Ibuprofen) will help reduce the fever and get rid of any aches that might be associated with the fever.
I don't know if I'm supposed to go to work today?
Yesterday, a co worker told me that another co worker needs to find someone to cover their shift tomorrow. I said that I could do it, and she said that she'll text the person to tell them I can cover them. I'm not sure if she ever texted them. I forgot to ask her before she left. And if she did text them, I'm not sure how they responded, what if they already found someone to cover their shift, and didn't need me? Now I don't know if I'm supposed to go in today. Should I just show up? I don't have the phone numbers of any of my co workers. I don't know what to do... I don't want to look like an idiot showing up on the wrong day if they don't even need me. They already make fun of me, I don't want to be more of a laughing stock than I already am. What do I do? Thanks.

Why should I go to work?
It depends upon your definition of work. You have to have a source of income to pay for the things in life you personally have to have to live. Does that income have to come from a stable or full time job? No. You can bum around the world and take odd jobs wherever you land.You can not work, have no source of income and live on the street and be at the whim of weather, the environment and the kindness of others who provide food and shelter or fill other personal needs.In some countries you can not work and draw welfare assistance. While there are usually conditions attached to these funds, people have succeeded in making a life just from qualifying for these funds.Your key question is: why should I NOT work? If you believe strongly in your reasons and you are willing to accept the consequences of that decision, then don’t work.

I say go for it! To be honest, underwear is completely useless and socks don't really have an adequate reason for existence. Go to work commando and sockless, feel comfortable and enjoy yourself!
