Should I Have Heard Back From My Job Interview By Now

Haven't heard back from job interview?

I had a interview on Tuesday and was told that the outcome will be given at the end of the week. It is now Friday evening and haven't heard back, should I just assume that I didn't get the job?

Had a job interview, but they haven't got back to me when they said they would?

I had a interview on Tuesday and was told that the outcome will be given at the end of the week. It is now Friday evening and haven't heard back, should I just assume that I didn't get the job?

Offered Job Interview, Never Heard Back. What should I do?

I recieved an email friday afternoon saying that I was selected from the candidates who applied to schedule an interview for a job I recently applied to. They did not indicate whether it would be in person or on the phone, but seemed to express at least a fair amount of interest in me, saying they were excited to hear from me and that I contact them as soon as I can.

I replied to the email Friday night thanking them for the opportunity, accepting the chance to schedule an interview and I gave them my availability for the next two weeks. I was very happy to have received an email from them.

It is now Monday afternoon and I have still not heard back. Have they lost interest over the weekend? The way I responded was very polite and professional, so I'm not sure how I could have turned them off unless they hired someone in the last two days.

Do you think they still have an interest in interviewing me or should I count this as a loss?

I haven t heard back from employeer after second interview.?

I applied for a job at Chick-fil-A over a month ago and got 2 interviews but I had call to get the second interview. I called them 4 plus times asking to speak with a manager. They said speaking "oh I m not the hiring manager". Then they were like umm I have know idea and they are not here right now... but I recommend you reapply... I then called again and a different person answered and told me "the hiring managers are out for a few days" but I can text her for you... but it s been over a month. A text is not helping because I called you a week ago and you told me you d text her but I still haven t heard a response. I don t have a personal email I can send someone and I have called multiple times and got the same answer. I did reapply but at this point I m getting really frustrated. I really want to work there. What should I do??

Job interview at Wendy's?

US Employers have to complete a Form I-9 for all new hires to prove identity and legal working status. Below is a link to the form, on the back are the lists of documents that are accepted. If you have something from list A, like a passport, that's all you need; it proves both identity and working status. If you don't, you'll need to bring one item from List B (identity) and one from List C (working status).

If you don't have the ID's needed, you can get started by applying. Sometimes a receipt showing it will be sent to you later is enough for the form. Also a lot of DMV's issue identity cards if you can't get a driver's license yet.

How do I interpret if you have not heard from interviewer in 2 weeks?

Obviously You Are Not through!...But wait I just recalled all my job interviews....I got an unexpected second interview call from one of my ex-employers after 50 odd days. By that time I had already accepted another offer and wasn't expecting a call from them. I eventually convinced them about my preference and joined them.Another time I was interviewing for a position in large Bank and the CFO was convinced and told me right there about next interview with CEO. Another bank called me after 10 days for final interview. At Non-profit organizations, I have heard back after 3 days, 7 days, same day as well.In a large telecom company's final interview when I asked about expected turn around time, the Chief Auditor explicitly said 'there's no time frame - indefinite'. The position was still vacant when I got to know about it after 8 months! The point is, it depends on the hiring process, urgency, stage of hiring, role and company profile. There can be a high number of candidates at the first phase resulting in longer wait. In very large corporations (government, public) you can expect delays.I would advice you to follow up with an email, mentioning your interest and status of your candidacy. If they are good, they should respond.Good luck :)

Why don't I hear back after applying to a job?

I just finished up my first year of college, and I've been out of work for that time, since I had a summer job at a thrift store in town. On my final day I didn't steal or destroy anything, but I just left on my lunch break. So now I've been applying to places, and when they ask about previous employers, I list it as the only place I've worked at. I've applied to 4 places that I know are hiring in the past month and I've only heard back from 1 possible employer, but it didn't go past a phone interview. I feel like the places I apply to do a background check before thinking about calling back and finding the wrong person with the same name, or they're contacting my previous employer and one of the higher-ups saying "yeah, he walked out on his final day." So what would be the most likely reason as to why I don't hear back from them? I always say I'm available for work the following Monday of the week I apply and that heavy lifting is not a problem when it comes to employee expectations. Should I have more references? And should I not list the thrift shop as my only job?
