Should I Pull An All Nighter To Fix My Sleeping Pattern

How can I fix my sleeping pattern FAST?

School starts on Wednesday, so 6 more days. I've been trying all summer to fix my sleeping pattern, but every time I get it normal, I accidently screw it up again. It's obviously much easier to stay awake for me, than it is to fall asleep. Right now, I'm going to bed at 7 in the morning, and waking up at 5 pm. Terrible, I know. How can I get it normal in the next six days so that I'm going to bed at 10 pm, and waking up at 6 am?

Pulling an all nighter to adjust my sleep pattern?

I have a sleep pattern that has gotten out of whack badly. i can't fall asleep before 6am and can't wake up before noon. this sounds silly but it's what i'm use to. i don't work an overnight job either, i usually get off of work at 9 pm.
i can't fall asleep sooner, i just lay there until 5 or 6 am. my alarms don't wake me up at all, so i can't even get up early! there isn't a sound loud enough to wake me because i'm a deep sleeper. i'm stuck in this rut and now i am worried about getting to work on time when i have to be there at 12 noon. everyone thinks i'm crazy for sleeping in so late, but i can't take it anymore.
if i pull an all-nighter (which is what i do if i have to get up early), will it allow me to go to bed earlier the next day and get up earlier? or will i wake up at the same time and be screwed? i know when you stay up all night you need more sleep the next night.
oh and tylenol pm and all that stuff does NOT work, it's just makes me feel funny, and feel like crap the next day.

I'm pulling an all-nighter to fix my sleeping pattern?

I'm so annoyed because it's the holidays and I've been sleeping at 5am and waking up at 4pm! I feel like I'm wasting the whole entire day and I tried going to bed earlier like 2am but end up tossing and turning for hours until it's 5am anyway! I've tried my best to fall asleep and I've also tried to go to sleep late but wake up early but I'm the type that once I'm asleep I can't wake up until Ive had a full sleep. So I'm currently doing an all-nighter (it's 6am) and hopefully going to bed at 9pm. I can't go out tomorrow (long story) so any tips so I can stay awake during the day?! I suffer from migraines so I can't do things like exercise because if I exhaust myself too much i will feel sick and need to rest...

How can I fix my sleep schedule after pulling an all nighter?

After being awake all night, make sure you get through the day. The best(safer) time to do this is on your day off. Driving/working while sleep deprived is NEVER a good idea even if you have a low labor desk job.Take walks, tend to your yard or get caught up on chores you’ve been putting off to stray off boardum.Eat light means as a heavy meal will put to right to sleep. After you make it through the day you’re going to want to tone your sleep so that you sleep for 10–12 hours of sleep/rest before waking up at your preferred time. the next day plan it so that you get 8–9 hours of sleep before waking up at your preferred time. Now you’re in your intended routine and good to go!

I kinda wanna pull an all nighter to fix my sleep schedule what do you think?

This is what I think you should do: Go to bed by 3 am and set your alarm for 10 am. You won't have the same amount of sleep as usual so you will be tired during the day and make sure you do a lot of vigorous exercise during the day so by 11 pm you should be tired enough to go to bed. Usually if I stay up all night I feel sick and have a horrible day but you could be different. Also Caffeine and other stimulates can only do so much and it is very easy to get addicted to them.
I hope this helps...Good Luck!

Should I pull an all-nighter to fix my sleep schedule?

School is starting on Thursday and I'm so not ready. I've been staying up until 3am almost every night this summer. Tonight is no different. Should I stay up all night so I can just fall asleep on time tomorrow night? What do you suggest?
thanks :)

If I pull an all nighter, should I get my 8 hours in the morning, or should I stay awake the whole day until night?

Imagine a world where exposure to the sun's rays would cause instant death to human beings. So, every morning before the sun rises till the moment it sets, people stay indoors and resume their activity in the night. In this case , wouldn't you be sleeping the whole day and be awake the whole night ? Sleep is a relative phenomenon. It has no defined time and duration. We sleep during the night because that's what we've been imbibed with as normal. Your body needs sleep to replenish itself. It removes the fatigue slowing down your body and mind. All this apart, the answer to your question is quite simple actually. If you have an important task or matter to attend to later in the day, it'd be better to grab a couple hours or more of sleep so you don't feel sluggish later on. Else, don't just sleep just for the sake of it. Go about your day normally and go to sleep when the tiredness creeps in.

Is staying up all night and day a good way to fix my sleeping schedule?

Good luck doing that. I messed around with my sleep cycle a lot in college and learned that a funny thing happens when you've been awake for around 24 hours, you crash in a different kind of way. Sleeping for 4 hours or less for one night and then not napping should be enough reset. In college I tried out a 27 hour daily cycle once (I was a strange kid); don't do that.We travel back and forth between completely opposite side of the planet, between Bangkok and Pennsylvania, not regularly, but every two or three years. That jet lag works out to be a similar cycle shift challenge. The theory is always to go short on sleep a few days and switch over that way, by not letting yourself nap for six hours during the day. In practice jet lag is a lot worse than disruption, because that doesn't set in during one or two days. In the end you just keep trying to sleep at the right time, and to nap less, and in around a week it's not finished but mostly so.Melatonin is worth trying (look it up if you've not heard of it). I never know if it's working, or if the placebo effect is, or if it took the same adjustment time anyway. As for routine cycle disruption where I normally live, due to my kids, or stress, or once due to a crazy tropical bird who liked yelling at night, I tried all those standard themes that people mention. I'm not sure any of it works. It probably does help to keep the same cycle 7 days a week, to not switch it between 5 days on one time frame and 2 days on another.

Should I just pull an all nighter or try to get a few hours of sleep?

I can't sleep. My sleeping schedule is all messed up. It's 3:15am right now, and I have to get up at 6:30. Should I just stay awake for the rest of the night and the whole day, so that tomorrow night I'll be really tired and I'll be able to sleep, OR should I try to get a couple hours of sleep before I have to wake up? I know I'll wake up more tired than I was when I went to be. Right now I'm not really tired at all. Ahh, I don't know what to do.
