Should I Wait To Get A Ps3 After Ps4

SHOULD I GET PS4 PRO OR WAIT FOR PS5?

Yes, the PS4 Pro is the best buy at the moment; it's basically the PS5.

Sony has not made any statement in regards to a PS5 - in fact the only statement they mad is that they're waiting for consumers to adopt 4K TVs so as to increase PS4 Pro sales - and that can take easily up to a year, maybe more.

The extra $100 on the price tag is really no big deal compared to the piece of equipment you're buying - try putting together a gaming PC with those specs and see how much you'd spend.

From my experience PS weight does play a significant role; the heavier the better. The PS3 Fat is a solid console that never had any issues and it was the heaviest out there; same with the PS4 Pro and the processing power is almost double a PS4.

I seriously doubt there'll be a PS5 coming anytime soon.

Should i get the ps4 pro Or Wait For The ps5?

i am scared since i have a fatal experience which i bought a ps3 then couple of weeks later they announced the ps4. i don't want that to happened again so i ask you Guys, SHOULD I BUY THE NEW PS4 OR WAIT FOR THE PS5

Is it still worth buying a PS4, or should I wait for the PS5?

Buy a PS4. Although the PS5 may come out at the end of 2020, the first version of anything always needs improvement. The PS4 Pro was originally released with a CUH-70xx model number. Later, Sony tweaked things under the hood and started shipping the CUH-71xx model of the Pro. Today, the RDRII bundle ships with a CUH-72xx Pro.If the PS5 pumps 4K at 60FPS, the first model may generate so much heat that the fans cause the console to levitate off the shelf unless you stick a potted plant on it. After a few months, Sony may figure out how to reduce the power consumption or improve the cooling and start shipping a model that doesn't need a potted plant. It would be better to wait for that PS5 model so you can focus on gameplay without having to worry about watering a plant.More importantly, two years is an eternity that you cannot allow to go to waste waiting for a PS5. In that time, you could sink 1000 hours into Horizon Zero Dawn, start a Twitch stream called "Make Some Shards", and become famous. Or, on a glum note, what if you catch an incurable disease before the PS5 comes out? Do you want to be thinking with your last breath, "I should have bought a PS4."? Of course not. That would suck.Life is short. Buy a PS4.

Should I get a PS3... PS4?

When you think about buying the newest console, the golden rule is "wait". We don't know a whole lot about the PS4 yet. Price point is one thing, exclusives is another. They've only announced a few launch exclusives. There's nothing that is too interesting at the moment (the new Infamous game looks cool though). If you want the PS4, I'd say wait about a year or more after launch so more titles pool up for it.

I'd say get the PS3 as it has TONS of great games on it. You can catch up on all those fun titles. It is also cheaper than the PS4 will be on launch.

Should i get PS3 or PS4?

Why you should get the ps3

#1 You should wait for the ps4 to slim down and let Sony find out what problems it has and never invest in a day one console

#2 The ps3 has a HUGE back log of games and waaaay more to come for the next 3 or more years with Sonys 10 year program

#3 Do you really want to get a console with hardly any games?

#4 It cost 200$ cheaper + all the crazy bundles these stores are having you could get some great games and have 200$ more to spend

#5 In 3 years Sony should make a slim version of the ps4 thats alot cheaper with bundles than it is now

#6 By then there will be a ton of games to buy for the ps4

#7 the ps3 has free online so you want have to pay a stupid monthly fee if you dont want to

Should I get a ps2 or ps4?

Many of my friends already have one or will get one by then. I've always wanted to play my old ps2 games that I had after my brother sold them all. Ps4 will have a PSN fee and a lot more expensive games than ps2. Ps2 will also have more games to choose from, but no online play with friends. Which one do you think would be a better choice?

Is it worth getting a PS4 Pro now or should I wait for the PS5? Will the PS5 be a whole new console where it’s going to have “PS5 games” and you can’t play “PS4 games”? Or will it be like a PS4 but way better specs/design?

Of course it's going to be a brand new console and it will come with many new games. Games you will need to buy in order to play them on the PS5, even if had previously purchased them on the Ps4. The last PlayStation that supported backwards compatibility was the Ps2. The ps3 cannot play Ps2 games and the Ps4 cannot play ps3 games. That will probably be the case with the PS5 as well. That is so developers can remaster their old games and re-release them. Examples of this are the Uncharted trilogy, the Crash Bandicoot trilogy etc.We do not know when the PS5 will be released. I have heard that it may release Xmas 2019 but it may release much later than that (Sony Interactive CEO John Kodera revealed back in May to the Wall Street Journal that the PS5 would not be releasing until at least 2021). And we still know nothing about the specs of the console other than that it is likely to use AMD's Zen technology. So I would say that if you want a Ps4 just go buy one. Even after the PS5 releases, the Ps4 will continue to be supported for some years.A word of advice though, don't bother with Ps4 pro. Get slim. The Ps4 pro is more powerful and it is capable for 4k but u less you have a 4k TV it wont be useful. Many games don't support 4k. True, it is superior with one GB more ram (dedicated only to apps) and a better cpu and gpu, but I don't think it is worth giving 100 more euros for that.

Should I buy Destiny for ps3 or should I wait for christmas and buy it for ps4?

It is important to note that Destiny's latest expansion (The Taken King) IS NOT ELIGIBLE for the promotion that was mentioned below. That said, I would recommend waiting until Christmas to pick up Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition.Original Answer:Actually, if you plan on purchasing Destiny via PSN (digital), you can benefit from Bungie's free upgrade program (see: Destiny Digital-Upgrade | Official Site of Destiny the Game).Basically, if you purchase Destiny digitally on PS3 or XBOX, you can upgrade your copy to their "next-gen" console equivalent for free.Bonus: After redeeming your free upgrade copy, you can then play on both PS3 and PS4 (or X360/X1 depending on what platform you originally purchased it on). However, if you do not plan on buying the game digitally, it may be best to minimize costs and wait for Christmas (it is only 24 days away after all).
