Should Political Action Committees be Eliminated?
I'm trying to write a research paper for my class. I'm thinking that I would want to write it on why PACs/Super PACs should be eliminated, but I'm kind of stuck on coming up with 3 reasons why they shouldn't exist anymore. So can anyone give me 3 reasons why PACs/Super PACs should be eliminated or even not be eliminated and should stay. I just need this as like a start so I can start researching more. -Thanks
Should we eliminate corporate taxes?
One aspect of many tax plans is to eliminate the taxes paid by corporations. There are many reasons to do this. 1) Any tax the corporation pays is passed on to the consumer anyway. 2) 90% of all lobbying is to create some tax loophole for a particular industry. Get rid of the tax, you get rid of the lobbyists. 3) It would eliminate the primary reason for corporate 'creative accounting.' 4) Corporations could get rid of an army of tax attorneys and accountants. The only reason I've seen to keep the tax is so that the gov't has a reason to audit the companies. No tax, no oversight. But I think the SEC could still call for an audit any time they wanted one on any publicly-traded company. So, is it better to eliminate it?

1. Super PACs disproportionately represent support for a campaign. Jeb has around $100 million dollars, but has had to make campaign cuts because no one supports his campaign, they support his Super PAC. 2. Super PACs give control of the political process to the wealthy: something like 168 families have given half of the campaign contributions of this campaign. As a result, candidates don't go to the people for support, they go to the candidates. Scott Walker had to drop out because his billionare sponsor stopped supporting him. 3. There are no limits on Super PAC funds, so there are no limits on political control by the "1%". As a result, the politicians support their donors instead of their constituents.
Why did voters in boston decide to eliminate rent control?

As you are already smart enough to realize that your mother should have been filing her 1040 federal income tax returns correctly and completely each year reporting all of her gross worldwide income on her income tax return and should have been paying all of the necessary required taxes self employment and social security and medicare taxes on her net profit from her business operation using the schedule C and the SE of the 1040 tax form.
