Smoking Weed Once A Month

Is smoking weed once a month bad?

To be honest, not really all that much.

But let's put it this way, any smoke that you put in your lungs is not good for them.

With weed, it takes a lot of time of use before it will seriously hurt you.

I won't condone it, but if you HAVE to, don't go overboard.

EDIT:
No matter where it comes from, smoke is NOT HELPING YOUR LUNGS AT ALL.
Be it from gasoline or a burning tree, smoke in your lungs is bad for your lungs.

Marijuana is not a herb. It's a plant. Just like tobacco, poison ivy, stinging nettles, and everything else that grows. That doesn't mean that it's good for you.

Is smoking weed once or twice a month bad?

well, alhtoug hweed isnt good for you, once or twice a month wont kill you but it will harm you. Drugs flow thru your blood. Blood flows thru your brain. your brains like a baby what you eat/drink/consume/hears it does too. so you will loose the brains power in certain lobes. But drugs r bad in any way. Well as they sa "everything in moderation".

Is smoking weed once or twice a month bad?

It would be hard for me to drop down to bi- monthly usage at this point. I'm using it for pain supression, as well as the mood calming, elevating effects. Using it a couple of times per month can be really fun. Go to a great flick, hiking trip, favorite restaurant, or preparing a gourmet meal. Special time with your honey, Disneyland. Whatever trips yer trigger..However, for me. using once or twice per month would create a dependency on opiates and NSAIDS for pain. Then, there's the felony potential of turning me loose, in this current living environment especially, unsedated. Actually, sedation from Diazepam and it's relatives, or other pych meds make my brain feel strangled. Like it has cotton stuffed in it. Which eventually makes me feel claustrophobic. And ornery. Combative. Cannabis doesn't sedate, in that sense. It provides zero insulation from the rigors of life, rather, it clear things up. Takes away the ego and opens the eyes. So, for me. Using once or twice a month can and would be bad.

Is it bad to smoke weed once a month? or two? like one dub ..?

Hey, This is a very difficult subject to discuss because everyone is different and marijuana has both positive and negative effects that may or may not even apply to you. First of all, be realistic.. Yes marijuana is a drug, don't kid yourself. Yea the majority of people claim there are no negative effects but then again some people have had devastating damaged caused to their mental or psychological well being. If you smoke weed once a month and enjoy it that's fine but its my opinion that you will eventually smoke it more often. Some people claim that marijuana is a gateway drug. Or are people who try marijuana just more likely to take other substances? Really this is all speculation and you probably must find out the hard way if smoking cannabis is not right for you. In my personal experience, weed is really not at all harmful compared to other drugs such as xanax, alcohol, mushrooms, opiates, lsd, you name it. But perhaps if it wasn't for weed I would be a little more motivated and i wouldn't have dropped out of school and wasted most of my youth. Keep this in mind next time your getting high and don't lose sight of yourself.

I'm 14 and I smoke weed once a month is that okay?

nope its not ok.

Will smoking weed once a month or so affect my brain?

No, smoking pot once a month probably won’t do any more harm to your brain.Adverse effects of marijuana are not so clear, especially those related to mental health. Nevertheless, weed has been related to some psychiatric adverse effects, such as cognitive impairment, poor school performance and psychotic disorders. These effects, however, are mainly related to users who smoked cannabis daily, for years, with an early onset.[1, 2, 3]Contrary to the answer of Sachel Hamm, cannabis can indeed produce acute psychotic-like symptoms, which probably explain the “panic attack” you had.[2] There may be a correlation between these and the development of psychotic disorders.[1]Don’t be fool by the answer of User-11694862469906562145, which suggests that marijuana can cause no harm to the brain simply because there are naturally occurring endocannabinoids in it. As many other drugs, marijuana mimics neurotransmitters that occur naturally, but in an unnatural way, which changes deeply the dynamics of the brain, with potential unhealthy effects.Even though marijuana won’t probably bring any more issues if consumed once a month, biologically speaking, it can still be psychologically damaging, especially for someone who experienced “panic attacks” related to it.1. What will smoking weed once every month at 13 do to my IQ now and later in life?

Once a month is on the border of reasonable and unreasonable IMO. There's credible research that shows weed has a negative effect on on adolescent brain development so it's really something you should avoid. The problem is there's no way to know if once a month is a reasonable dose for you. Every person is different, you might fall on the good end of the statistics or the bad end.If you are motivated for success, my advice is always smoke less. Nobody ever said “my life really started to fall apart when I stopped smoking weed”. Not smoking weed is the safe bet here, you aren't going to be rejected from an Ivy League college because you didn't smoke weed. And trust me, I've seen plenty of failures that are entirely the fault of smoking weed. While I think once a month is reasonable, I'm also concerned about your age.I don't think right now is the right time for you to smoke weed. I would reduce it, every other month, 3 or 4 times a year. You are 13, the world is going to change a lot for you over the next 5 to 10 years. I think you should be as sober as possible for that.At least wait until you get into that Ivy League College, that's a much better place to smoke weed.

What are the side effects of smoking/consuming weed once a month?

Studies of long term adult users, daily marijuana users found only one certain health risk: periodontal disease. And that’s with daily use - not once a month.I specify that this research is regarding only adults. The adolescent brain is not the same as the adult brain. Research suggests that chronic use by adolescents MAY impact cognitive development.Older adults are using marijuana regularly with minimal side-effects.One of the best parts of cannabis is that after the weed leaves your system, the side effects do as well!So while you’re under the influence you’ll feed the effects depending on the strain you use. But once it leaves the body, most people feel nothing unordinary.Different strains (indicas vs sativas vs hybrids), cause different physical, emotional, and mental effects. What you experience depends on the strain. Also, strains are very individualized. What makes one person experience euphoria can make another experience panic. You have to find the perfect strains for you.Happy Toking!-Jessie

If i smoke weed once every 2 or 3 months is that bad?

Well, there is not much health-wise that says it's a bad idea. Of course inhaling smoke and tar into your lungs is never good, but there are medicinal uses for pot as well.

As for it being bad to do "recreationally" every couple months, that's up to you. If you get caught buying it, that would be bad. If you can get random drug tests at work, it might be bad if you get injured. If you lose your job and need a new one, they'll probably drug test (but you can easily detox your system if you haven't used much).

I can't think of any other reasons that would making smoking pot a bad idea. I like smoking before watching comedies. It makes them much funnier. Enjoy!
