Smoking Weed Underage

Smoking Weed Underage?

Hi, I'm Lexie.
I recently started smoking cannabis and I am underage. Where I live in washington, its legal. But just like alcohol, you have to be legally 21. I am under 21. I am honestly under 18. I always smoked in my room but the smell was horrible and stunk a large part of the house. My parents are OK with me smoking but the smell got so bad that I couldn't smoke in the house. So my friend and I decided the best place to go is at this school in the back. Nobody is around. But I want to know IF I got caught by law enforcement, what would I be charged with? Or would it be a warning? What would be the punishment?

Thanks:)

Smoking weed underage?

My daughter is 15 and I ve caught her a couple times with weed but she never admits that she smokes it. I honestly don t know what to do. I ve always been very leeniant with my kids because they were always found of doing the right things... But not her. What should I do?

How to find weed underage.?

I have never bought it in my old town my friends smoked so i just bummed off them. Now i live in another town and no one i mean no one smokes they are more preppy southern people. Im not the type of person to go up to someone and ask them

Which is worse: Smoking weed or drinking beer (underage)?

Both are. But smoking weed is the lesser of the two evils, I suppose. But they can both mess with your brain. Drinking underage is a bad idea, because your body is still developing, if you drink you start to ruin your liver and your brain and other organs. Just wait until you're 21. If I can do it, you can do it.

What do you think is worse: underage drinking, underage smoking, or smoking pot? why?

smoking tobbacco is the worst of the 3....drinking is bad when done irresbonsibly(to the answer about iq falling 20 points....im an accounting major witha 4.0 and i first drank alcohol at age 11 and do every weekend now....) smoking pot isnt that bad actually...all the facts and fake statistics on the net are fake for the most part...i did a 5 page research paper on it and got an A...i also smoke pot on a dialy basis and maintain my gpa at Auburn University

Underage drinking vs. Underage pot smoking?

Alcohol causes brain development problems in people prior to the brain being fully developed at age 24. Consuming alcohol prior to brain development will lead the adolescent to engage in risky behavior. Alcohol abuse as an adolescent may permanently damage the final portion of the brain to develop - the risk judgement area. This would keep you from ever making wise risk-based decisions. Alcohol abuse as a adolescent also may lead to depression and substance abuse problems in your future children years after you stop drinking alcohol.

Marijuana is also dangerous but thought to be less addictive than alcohol and tobacco. Marijuana will lead to throat and lung cancer just like smoking tobacco. Each year that you smoke marijuana will increase your chance of getting lung cancer by 8% per year. Marijuana also permanently changes the chemical makeup of your brain. A person who uses marijuana will later develop one of several types of mental illness (Depression, Mania, Bi Polar, Schizophrenia, Hallucinations, Paranoia) Most marijuana smokers will need professional help and anti-psychotic drugs later in life some of these drugs will cost tax payers $1500 a month just for your treatment. Like alcohol, marijuana also affect children that you may have - even after you quit using marijuana. Your children also will suffer from addictive behavior and attention deficit disorder.

You may find it interesting that marijuana is so harmful that other countries have banned it's use, including;
- Ottoman empire banned in 1378
- Napoleon banned in 1798
- Egypt banned in 1868
- Turkey banned in 1890
- the USA banned in 1937, then again in 1970

You are kind of in a catch 22, both of the drugs you mentioned will harm your brain as an adolescent. Both drugs will also harm your future children - even if you stop using.

Generally you are safe to drive a vehicle 12 hours after drinking. Marijuana smokers need to wait 48 hours. I guess you could factor that into your cost-benefit calculation.

It's hard for me to choose which one is the most dangerous ?????

How to get weed underage in amsterdam?

So basically my dad, my 2 good friends and myself are heading to amsterdam tomorrow, and of course the first thing that came to mind was weed lol. Even though were only 15, all three of us have smoked weed before, not that much (for me only 5 times, although the weed was quite strong, so im used to weed and its effects. So while we are in amsterdam we obviosly wanna try some. My dad surprisingly smokes weed a decent bit, and so im sure he'll be blazing it up in one of the coffeeshops. However i know you have to be 18 to even enter and i doubt ill be able to fake being over 18 as im pretty short and dont have much facial hair, neither are my friends cause they dont wanna risk getting caught. So thats out of the question. Also my dad probably wont get us any, firstly-cause its illegal to give it to a minor. and 2nd- cause he doesnt really know i smoke weed and might not want me to while we're there. Even though he has jokingly said hed buy us some. so if there is any way of getting weed underage in amsterdam, for the love of god please tell me! xD

Is it illegal for parents to let their underage kids smoke weed in California?

Yes. Even though cannabis use is legal in California for medical and adult recreational use, the law specifically states that medical use is 18 and over with a physician’s written recommendation and recreational is 21 and over just like beer, wine, and spirits.Just like beer, wine, and spirits, however, it is not that hard for teens to get their hands on if they want to (in fact, I’ve known adults to ask their kids to help them find some in the days before Prohibition was lifted here). For as long as I have lived here, it was so easy to access that many parents simply regard it as a hill not worth dying on in and of itself and focus mainly on other markers like grades, work ethic, social functionality, and “not getting in trouble”. (This is mostly true for white kids, by the way. It is obvious to the most casual observer that the laws are enforced much more harshly on kids who are other-than-white. Tommy might get grounded and his car keys taken away if Officer Friendly catches him smoking a doobie. Jamaal might not come home at all or, at least, face some time in juvie.)As a parent in California, I feel that I can have much more control of my kid’s safety if I accept the fact that weed is pretty ubiquitous here and teen access is about as tightly controlled as beer was when I was their age. Translation: it might be a little inconvenient to access but not even super hard. Since I don’t try to pretend the tide does not exist, I can focus on keeping my own swimmer in the proper lane.Ironically, I’ve heard that legalization of adult use has raised awareness and more kids are finding it harder to get their hands on. Strictly anecdotal, though, so who knows?
