A teacher is a person who helps others to acquire knowledge, competences or values. Informally the role of teacher may be taken on by anyone.We had farewell few years back. We decided to Thank our teachers in a special way, so we prepared a speech to dedicate it to our teachers by giving them a specific title, we initiated the speech by thanking them for guiding us and sharing the valuable lessons and so on….. Now the titles went like this:-For History teacher -” Heart of History” we justified the title by saying “sir you are the heart of history as you manage to keep the things alive by connecting the past with present and pumping the information into our veins.For Maths teacher - “Sultan of Maths” you just solve the questions as if you the boss of sums and they get solved by you, the way you want to solve them.For English Teacher - “Emerald of English” you made us realize that learning English will make us shine and will add beauty to our personality.We ended the speech with a round of applause and had a great lunch time together.
Why is america so great?
Firstly.... i'm not having a go at americans, i have a few good friend that are americans, but i don't understand how americans can be so patriotic and think their country is so great. No free healthcare... if you have one of the common everyday ailments that forbids you from being able to get private healthcover, or you can't afford it.... your government leaves you to die!!! The worst education system in the western world which leaves more school leavers innumerate and/or illiterate than any other developed western country. Higher crime rates and murder rates per percentage of population than any other developed country in the world. Even in the current climate, it has the worst Economy on record, and cant even sustain its own national debt to itself, let alone the 7 trillion dollars owed to china. It calls itself a superpower, and claims to have the best armed forces in the world (but hasn't won a single war since the civil war over 200 years ago)........... Has the highest percentage per population in the developed world of people living below the poverty line The list goes on, but i fail to understand why so many americans are so patriotic, and think that america is the greatest country in the world????????????
