Spayed Female Blood Spotting

My dog was spayed today and is now vomiting with blood in the vomit?

thanks for all the comments. i did call an emergency vet clinic and they said nausea is normal. and she threw up one more time and it was just stomach bile. they told me the little bit of blood in her vomit is probably due to a throat tare. and that if she throws up solid blood to bring her in. i am keeping a close eye on her. she has gone to the bathroom, both peed and pooped which is a good sign. but i am waiting it out a little longer because the cost of the emergency vet is very expensive and i spent every last dime i have on her spay today. she is moving around and wags her tail when i call her name. i gave her a dose of her pain medication and hope that helps her go to sleep. i am planning on taking her to the vet first thing in the morning if the problem continues. thank you for all your comments and concerns.

Female Dog's spay incision spot is blistering a year later? Help!?

I got my dog fixed last summer so its been about a year now. She's always had a little knot thing there where it bulges out a tiny bit from where the doc fixed her. Which is normal to feel or see on most female dogs that are spayed. But yesterday I noticed it was sticking out a little more than normal and it was a darker color. Then this morning I woke up and checked it and now its like a big blister type thing on it. It has some purple color to it now. It hasn't been hurting her and I can touch it without it bugging her. To the touch, it does fill like its a sack filled with liquid but its the purplish color that is scaring me a little. And she has not been licking on it or anything. I cant take her to the vet that fixed her because we moved to a different state. And the state we live in now is very expensive and I just want to see if this is a normal thing even though the surgery was a year ago? And will it possibly pop and go away on its own? I'm waiting till tomorrow and if it gets worse, Im going to take her into the vet to be seen. Any comments or advice would be very helpful. Thank you!

DOG HELP 4 year old spayed female spotting blood in urine?

Keep a close eye on her and give her lots of water.
She will pee more than normal but as long as she is not being sick, vomiting or diarrhea, stays alert and not losing to much blood, she may be able to wait until Monday to see the Vet.
Ideally, she should see the vet as soon as possible just to make sure as it could also be poisoning (symptoms are vomiting, bleeding, foaming, short breath, diarrhea).
Find out if a vet is open, they may be able to advise you more over the telephone and letting you know if it can wait til Monday.

A bladder/uterus infection may be the cause.
My 2 year Lab had this, we thought she was on her period but it turned out to be an internal infection.

The vet may ask for a blood test to find out and possible X-ray to determine the cause.
Meanwhile, look on internet if there are associations/charities near you that may help you with vet bills as treatment may be expensive.
Only the vet can really diagnose, it may be something less serious that is easily treated with tablets.

When you go to the vet, try to take a urine sample (at least a table spoon), no older than 4 hrs. Keep refrigerated until you travel.
Hope it helps and good luck

My female is bleeding but I spayed her few months ago, is it normal?

no, it's not normal...only a vet can tell you..get her in now.....

Spayed cat vaginal bleeding?

you took your cat to the vet because she was going in and out of the litter box and the vet did not tell you what was wrong? fire that vet and find a new one.

a cat going in and out of the litter box most likely has urinary issues. an xray wouldn't tell him much of anything, he should have tested the urine, and if nothing else given you a prescription diet to help the cat. (not that I think the prescription diet is the best option, but it is easy and generally effective. If you would like a better option, check out the urinary section of www.catinfo.org )

Crystals in the urine abrading the lining causing it to bleed or an infection that is causing bleed. Get your cat to a vet because no matter how little pain you think she might be in, she is in a lot of pain. Cats need to hide the pain they are in because they are prey animals and prey animals that show weakness are usually hunted and killed first.

If you were bleeding when you went pee, wouldn't you see a doctor??

My cat is bleeding but she has been spayed?

Your kitty needs to see the vet. I can't imagine a shelter would NOT spay a cat, so it's probably not uterine problems.

She could have a urinary tract infection. Occasionally, a tiny amount of blood in the stool is not overly abnormal (the first time I said that I rushed the cat to the vet, and it was nothing). But she could also have gotten into something that is injurious - whether it's a toy, poison etc., or have a tumor, or, or???? Only your vet can answer this.

Contrary to popular opinion, worms almost *never* cause blood in the stool.

What does it mean when a female dog starts spotting?

I am fostering a pair of dogs; a large male golden retriever and a female rottweiler mix. The female has started spotting; I have found a few spots of blood on my floor. I have never had a female dog before, and I do not know what this means.

Both dogs were found and I am fostering them until we find a new home for them together... so I do not know their history. I can see that the male is neutered... but how do I know if she is spayed? Will she still have spotting if she is spayed? Will the bleeding stop after a little while? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

My 7 year old female spayed Rat Terrier is not eating or drinking for last 18 hrs. Stomach hard.?
